in Star Wars Galaxies

ok how about this one, do i really need to enter my credit card number or game card ID to activate my free month? cause thats the way it seems to be turning out.

    Yes, then you can cancel before the month runs out if you don't want to keep playing and you will not be charged.

    well i was just gonna get a game card ever two months, but figured i didnt need to buy one for atleast a month.. this sucks

    You could put in a credit card temporarily. If you decide you want to keep playing, switch to a game card before your initial month has expired. Your credit card should not have been billed.

    so does every day that i dont enter a game card id, does that take away from my month?

    When you activate the account, you get a free 30 days. If you activate the account today, you have 29 days to switch over the billing infomation to a game card. I'd advice switching over sooner, say around 15 - 20 days.

    i made an acount name but i didnt subscribe or anything, does that mean the countdown has begun?

    Yeah it takes away from your month.  The idea of starting your account with a CC and switching prior to your 30 day trials expiration date is a pretty good one.

    Ok, actually that does NOT take away from your month if you havent set up a Star Wars Galaxies subscription on you're SOE account. Just because you make a SOE Station account does not mean that you're countdown has begun. SOE accounts are free, and you can make as many of them as you want because they are worthless unless you set up a subscription within your account. And to setup this subscription you WILL need a credit card unless you have a game time card ready. But, you will NOT be charged if you cancel your account before the billing date. Even if you type the credit card in and set everything up, and cancel your account 5 minutes after already setting up and activating the subscription, your subscription will still be active for 30 days, and your credit card will NOT be billed.

    **ONCE AGAIN, YOUR 30 DAYS WILL NOT BEGIN TO "COUNTDOWN" UNTIL YOU HAVE SETUP YOUR STARWARS:GALAXIES SUBSCRIPTION FOR YOUR SOE STATION ACCOUNT!!**
