The recent announcement of a complete change in the EC founders programme is to me a step too far.
it is one thing to solicit funding up front. It is another to then completely change the programme after initial failure to deliver any element of it, and not to offer any alternative to backers.
To then add the tone of the recent announcement.. Almost sarcastic " sorry " makes me sorely regret my founders contribution.
I'll not support this any longer... I've lost faith in this team and it's delivery commitments. However I wish those of you who stay with it all the luck.

You do realize that this is how ALL of these ideas operate. You get NOTHING,no guaranteed promises, not even a say in how the game gets designed.
You should realize what your getting into when you hand out free money.
Now here are the two problems i have.....
There is already law that states no business can KNOWINGLY sell an unfit product or service. The problem is gaming has got around the law by making claims of early access and giving out warnings of an unfinished product and that your money is NOT for a purchase of the game but instead allowance of early access.
Of course we NEVER see this site trying to aid the gamer but are all in on anything goes as long as developers are paying us for advertisements.the WWW has the power to make sure gamer's are not ripped off and treated fairly and to call out developer's for trying to operate under VERY shotty business practices. The problem is advertising websites won't call out ANY developer for shotty business practices, they are feeding off of the same dinner plate.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
WIz, oh I agree... i knew I risked the money no problem and have backed many kickstarters; some succeeded, some failed.
My issue here is more that this studio seem to have wasted the chance/money and IP they have been given and are not really fessing up to that. They don't even seem to care that much that their commitments to the community have not been met. They announce in a meant-to-be-humourous sarcastic way... almost 'pfff who cares?'
And then they continue to ask for more and promise more. Hmm. Shotty. As you say.
