San Francisco, 2077

 

After the Taikai-Dochira, a 12.6 magnitude earthquake, strikes across Asia, refugees begin pouring into the United States from San Francisco harbor. The local police force and National Guard attempt to deal with the issue though the large influx of people poses and issue. Wars begin popping up in various parts of the world, calling away the military support for the city and leaving the local police force to deal with it.

San Francisco is reduced to a city of slums and ghettos. The city has attempted to expand by building more slums and ghettos for individuals to live in though they are unable to build at the rate of people coming in. The population of San Francisco has gone from 800,000 to nearly 3,000,000 since 2077. The San Francisco Police Department is out numbered 1:39, and only 23% of all crime is reported or responded to by police. Crime and drugs rules the streets.
