The human eye has difficulty detecting frame rates above 30 fps. The return on investment in terms of quality is minimal to non-existent.
That said, fancy graphics don't mean much if you dislike the console game style. Even when played on the PC, I cannot stand games that were designed for consoles.
Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do. Benjamin Franklin
Usually imports are done terribly though i hope this generation is different.
I watch Total biscuits videos on You tube and some times catch his tweets on twitter he literally won't even look at never mind review a console game below 60 FPS which i find humorous .
Consoles are just easier to optimize for since the hardware is the same. Devs can build a game around the specs of the device and get the most out of it whereas computer games tend to have to cater toa wider range and can run into performance issues if certain parts don't mesh well together

That's been proven false on so many levels. Gamespot for starters did a report about that using hard facts that disprove that notion. The human eye most certainly can detect it and it's not minimal. Watch the report, I'm sure it can be found easily.

If somebody really wanted to they could make a game on PC that blows everything on console out of the water. What console has that PC does not is talented development studios that push the hardware that they develop for. Studios like Naughty Dog, 343 Studios, Suker Punch, Turn 10 and Gorrila Games are just so much better at what they do.

That is a very subjective statement. There isn't game by any of those studios that I care for.

This has nothing to do what you or I care for.
Well you definitely imply that by saying what you did, again you made a very subjective statement.

If its subjective then prove it. What games look better?

But they also have the hardware specs on hand that never changes so yes they can push the hardware to its limit. PC's vary on everything and what works for one computer wont work for another even though they might meet the specs for the game. Sure you can create a monster game that only runs on the top 1% of computer but whats the point if you wont make a return on it?

First off your idea that a game must look better to show it is pushing current hardware is a joke. Alot of games have so many computations that some current hardware is struggling to suffice with it. I'd like to see a console run any of the newer Total War games at full graphic settings, IL2 Battle for Stalingrad at full graphics, There are plenty of games out there that neither of the consoles could run very well if they were ported. Hell read the new dev post by CDprojekt regarding the Witcher 3, he said "if you want the best looking game run it on PC".

Thats why we have graphic settings. Remember when PC games like Crysis , Metro, Doom 3, Half Life 2, Far Cry were all exclusive to PC and looked better then anything on a console.

These games look really good to running on $350 - $400 consoles
Links to these games that go above 30FPS and look better?
I play on my PC and console both are great , iv'e never understood the whole 60 fps is a must have argument compared to 30 .
Please enlighten me iv'e never noticed the difference but maybe that's because i'm not looking ?!? who knows.
Its not important at all. Most people here are PC gamers that don't get 60FPS out of there games unless they own a monster machine.
Driveclub ( PS4 ) at 30FPS looks better then Project Cars ( PC ) at 60 FPS.

Fully agree.
I just like my games to look and run even beter even if that means I might miss out on some great console exclusive tittle's.

Sorry but where did you read me say that they don't look great or have performance issue's?
you might have missed the now highlighted red word.
Ok, lets do this this way.
You said you like your games to look and run even better. What games look and run better?
