Originally posted by observer I expected them to be more, around 50k or higher. 30k is actually quite high still. The only people that can make 30k a month are gold farmers and AH power-players. You can't make this casually. You'll have to actually farm this every month. That's just the starting price though, and it will eventually drop depending on the supply and demand of the thing.
I could make a couple hundred thousand a week from having multiple max levels, perusing the crafting system, exploiting the auction house and doing a specific raid on each character. That was maybe playing an hour a day (after the first month of rushing characters to max).
Making gold is incredibly simple in WoD.
All that isn't being casual, or just a regular player. lol.
A normal casual player logs on, does some quests or dailies, a pvp game or dungeon, then logs out. A hardcore, and more dedicated player, logs onto multiple alts, farms gold, plays the AH, does raids and heroics, arenas, etc. It takes more than one hour a day.
These tokens will be great for casuals who want to sell them for gold though.

yupp, everyone has 6-7 hours a day to farm enough gold...
I personally wont be farming gold to play for free. Ill keep buying a single month of sub (every other few months) like ive been doing for years, and when i happen to get enough gold to buy a few months of game time then ill happily use them. If i have to farm like a zombie then im not playing a fun video game anymore. But thats just me.
Why must MMO's cater to the type of people who needs things like Blizzard tokens? It's asinine. That's all you'll get from them. More grind on your servers to buy something that helps the "whales" that much more.

Hes' saying 6-7 hours a month to get the 30k, As others have stated its very easy to get gold in wow, Even if you only logged on and did the gold missions on a few toons you would make more than 1k a day for 10 mins of being logged in. We'll see how it goes though.

so the price is set by blizzard?? and not by supply and demand but how well it does?
So for example...
player 1 has the capped crazy amount on several character because hes played smartly against bad investors on the Ah over the last 10 years and sees these tokens and buys a few hundred of them...
can the price be adjusted just from these few player types who have far more gold than they need?
i can see mulitboxers having a field day with this....

Sounds like from the video description they can only be purchased with Gold once and become soul bound.

Spend a few days farming gold to buy a month of gametime...I'm in
Looking forward to see these in EU already and stop paying for WoW. The actual content is not worth 15 USD/month to be honest, at least my opinion.
But if I can play it for free, I'll keep going. Buying expacs is already enough money for Blizz.

15$ is good value for 6-7 hours of farming gold?

Not really like Eve's system.
