Near infinite gear upgrading game
As in the title, i don't care if it's mmorpg or rpg i just want something with random gear drops and possibly upgrading the gear.
Somewhere where i should be able to max my gear in like 3 months or so and not 10 years like in some asian games.
I've played:
Diablo 3: Didn't really have uncertainty, as in there's this one armor set for a wizard and that's it. So it ruined the fun. Plus i hated how you just steamroll mobs 24/7, nothing else in game.
Might and magic x legacy: holy shit i loved this, i loved the gear drops and the spells, combat was nice too. But once you finish game it's over, don't like this, i want to play until i get best gear.
Lords of xulima: seems nice too, but it has an end too, mobs don't respawn.. Didn't finish yet though.
grim dawn: love it but it's not finished, i dislike getting good gear and then next lvl shit drop is better.
So yeah if the game has shit graphics they must at least be nice looking, like terraria for example. No heavy p2w that i can't ignore, so no leaderboards and crap.
Hopefully there's something like this, oh and i accept modded games too. Is there a titan quest mod that i might like or something? (i didn't like TQ because most viable grind option included a repeated 2 minute game restart)

MMORPGs are designed to keep you around for years, not 3 months and then jump ship.
I forgot to mention i only own a PC.. This looks like a console only game.
And there are mmorpgs that i really liked but most of the time ruined by cash shop.. For example DDO has like 50 explansions that you have to pay for..
I forgot to mention i liked battle of the immortals, but once again asians think adding 100 more levels was a good idea xD

Pretty much ALL of these games are forever grinds to get the best gear,they are not going to allow everyone to finish the game in 3 months be it cash shop or sub based.
Matter of fact,i bet almost every single mmorpg or any game would die from a PVE aspect if there was not that infinite gear grind.This really shows how shallow game development has been,nobody would care about 99.9% of the content if there was no reward.

path of exile
much deeper item system then diablo 3, with difficulty walls in later levels. as well as developer(and 3rd party) sponsored event races.
cash shop is pure cosmetic unless you consider bank inventory slots p2w
I didn't like it, and even though it's not p2w legaly, lots of people buy from 3rd party websites and not get banned. Even excluding that, i remember grinding for solid few months and i couldn't get anywhere, maybe 3 or 4 good drops. Oh and it's also very tiring on the eyes for some reason. And the fact that it overheated my pc didn't help either lol.
Ah yes i remember now why, thousands of trash drop item names that you have to look through to not miss a good one..
Feels like the game was made to exhaust me..

There are methods of playing console games on your computer. It is frowned upon to state how this is done, since if you do not own the games in question, it is stealing instead of a backup. (In fact, some companies do not want you doing it even if you do own the game and console.)
