I would have recommended COH instead of WoW, but the former was a masterful idea...wish I'd have thought of it
I found CoH to be mind numbing boring. However, with the City of Villains expansion this may all be about to change. What are superheroes without supervillains ?! :-)

People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.
Id wait for like 6 months and let them work out the bugs even though SOE track record sucks in this area.

I loved and still love City of Heroes, best looking game, BEST Character generator and unique look and feel. You can solo in the game or you can group, either is easy to do.
CoH is the best MMO out there along with Planetside.
