Let's not try to artificially make the gameworld bigger than it really is by saying trivial things like this. We all know most of the world of skyrim is instanced off and isn't on its overworld.
Also no one got my joke. Small map cause you can't zoom in and see the names of the settlements and what not clearly.
I like the look of the map, the world looks big! The only problem is having enough to do that is interesting while adventuring and exploring it. If the game is almost all doing quests than I will get bored fairly quick, no matter how great it looks.
Death is nothing to us, since when we are, Death has not come, and when death has come, we are not.

The game is about assuming the role of your character and living his life...making decisions that directly affect how the characters life unfolds.
Describing the game using mmo terminology ...... questing........... doesn't do justice to the game's true nature (ROLE PLAYING GAME)
Imagine reading a book with a very interesting character. As the book progresses your character has to make difficult decisions that directly determines how the story unfolds.
I heard the game has 36 different endings depending on your decisions(makes for great replay ability)

The endings don't change much. Only X person is alive while Y person is dead type stuff that doesn't change much in the grand scheme of things.
Sounds like ME2 which I enjoyed a lot cause I just had to save all of my crew. :-)

In TW2 you also decide the outcome of a war and if a country-wide witch hunt for mages will start, among other things.

Nah, it's not about the size, it is about the stuff you can do there!
Honestly.
MMOs finally replaced social interaction, forced grouping and standing in a line while talking to eachother.
Now we have forced soloing, forced questing and everyone is the hero, without ever having to talk to anyone else. The evolution of multiplayer is here! We won,... right?

No fate but what we make, so make me a ham sandwich please.
As I recall a dev saying :
* 20 minutes by horseback .....if you could ride in a straight line(which of course you cannot)
* About 20% bigger than SKYRIM map
As you can see some locations can only be reached by boat. Yes your hero can sail his own boat.

As an exploration minded player then yes! LOL!!!!
Sandbox means open world, non-linear gaming PERIOD!
Subscription Gaming, especially MMO gaming is a Cash grab bigger then the most P2W cash shop!
Bring Back Exploration and lengthy progression times. RPG's have always been about the Journey not the destination!!!
Ugh, only makes the wait worse.
