The Crew is not a MMO either. it's more multiplayer.
Why not put Diablo or GTA up on that list?
How much did Bungie pay you guys to publish this trash?
The MMORPG.com's "reporters" are horrible of late, well more like the last 3 years.
Pick a genre... I dunno like MMORPGs and stick with it. And get rid of your dead weight.
LMAO, GTA? Ok, well hopefully that was sarcasm.
Also, I'm fairly certain Bungie doesn't have to pay anybody to promote Destiny at the moment, since it, possibly, has more players than any other MMORPG on the market.
Suggestion, 1) remove panties, 2) unknot, 3) put panties back on.

No kidding, this site is starting to remind me of the original Massively. No matter what the subject, they always found a way to inject Gw 2 into the discussion and gave it all kinds of "awards" and blah, blah, blah. Can't help but wonder how much ANet is doling out for these "services"...

And as much as I enjoyed Destiny for several months because of its superb gameplay....well, it could have been considered as something very close to an MMO but Bungie has really dropped the ball with this one. No social options at all, same bounties/strikes every single day (even after taking 3 months off, I tried to go back and literally everything was exactly the same), and in general, no content. The upcoming so-called "expansion" offers nothing in the way of expanding anything.
So yeah I would have to say remove Destiny from this list, unless Bungie gets off of their collective tushes, gets rid of that moron Deej, and brings in some folks who actually care.
And as someone above me said, these five are probably about the only B2P games that are at least marginally successful and stable. This "list" is pretty much all that is available, unless WildStar resists being shut down and goes B2P.

Ok so, first of all, I still laugh when people hate on GW2. I'll admit, I don't play it any more and probably won't play it again. However, it's still a solid game. I laugh at the propagandists who consistently try to implicate a couple sites or people as being "fanboys" or "paid off" for an IP that was UNIVERSALLY critically acclaimed. Unless they paid off literally every single site that reviewed their game, and if you try to make that claim then it only supports me in this.
Same goes for Destiny. I get the "It's cool not to care" or "I hate everything popular" attitude. I get that's "cool" these days. I get that it's "cool" to be mad or angry. First of all, I would agree that their social options are lacking. However, it's not really a game that was intended to be "pugged". They've maintained from the beginning that it's a game where they want a short ramp-up and they want to have you playing with your friends. FRIENDS. I wish they did have more social options, but so be it. Maybe it'll come down the road. As far as "no content", I disagree entirely. 15-20 hours of story content is not zero content. It's probably right in the average now. Maybe a little above the average. If you actually want to raid, we're talking plenty of time. Now, that might not be time that you want to invest, but that's cool, you don't have to. You've got your 15 or 20 hours out of it, so you can move along onto the next. As far as the upcoming expansion goes, I'm not sure what you're not seeing, but feel free to explain what "no content" is to you. By the time my season pass is done I will likely have added an additional 20 hours of story content, probably 10-15 multiplayer maps, 6-9 extra game modes, 3-5 raids, 6-10 strikes. All that for $35. Sweet! Thanks!!
