What game should I choose now ?

Hi.

 

I'm old MMORPG player and I'm looking for a new game.

To this day I have played in games like:

1. Lineage II - I didn't liked it (grind grind grind)

2. World of Warcraft (few years ago, and also I did second try few months ago) - I didn't liked it, maybe it was too complicated, maybe moving from point A to point B took too much time (I was using transport in cities)

3. Rift - It was good for some time, later it was quite boring

4. Runes of Magic - amazing but also, almost dead

5. Guild wars - Amazing, but dead

6. Guild Wars 2 - I don't know if I liked it, I reached max level, but I didn't have feeling "Ohhh, I must go back home and turn on the GW2" Which I had when I was playing GW or Runes of Magic

7. LOTRO - Weak

 

I'm looking for any type of game, f2p, p2p, b2p. I prefer fantasy games. Any ideas what I could try? When I'm leveling my characters I prefer playing alone (That's why I didn't liked Rift, after reaching 50lvl, I had to spend hours to do one quest, as mobs had too much hp), in the endgame - I prefer going to instances in team rather than PvP, but PvP is also good.

Any suggestions ?

Actually I'd like to suggest single player games for someone who thinks WoW is too complicated and it takes too much time to travel in it. You've played most of the big name MMOs, the rest are normally far more complicated and take more time to achieve something that in WoW, not less.

WoW is one of the least complicated games to travel in since you have flying mount. With flying mount you don't have to fight your way. Also nowadays it's mount at level 20 and epic at 40 and flying mount at level 60.

You can be level 20 in a day.

You play play mostly solo yet you complain that  the good games are dead?

 

What the hell difference should that make to you?   Just pretend the NPC's are other players and you should be fine.

 

The WoW comments are funny too!

Leveling is not the mostly part for me, I play solo when I'm leveling my char, later on I play with other players in various instances etc.

 

Travelling in WoW takes a lot of time, because flying mounts in fact go from the top of the map to the bottom. It takes ages. Quick teleport would be much better for me. It look cool, yea, but when you see that 100 times, it's just boring and it waste time. And I didn't said, that travel is complicated

You could give EverQuest II a try. It is very solo friendly and also very party friendly. And now with mercenaries you can even grab a NPC to tag along (for a price of course - 40 silvers initially and 20 silvers per half hour for me on lv 37) for the small party (heroic) quests.

Then I'd say FFXIV would be a good choice to try. Fantasy story based campaign mostly soloable, not grindy, quest exp, strong player base, economy, beautiful graphics,  PVE focused, cross-platform, no cash shop, teleport anywhere anytime. The Instance system is also based on a party finder/tele to system so no walking to any dungeon, so on snd so on for you to discover.... There is a free trial too! See ya there!

Can you ignore the "complicated" word ? I didn't said that in the mean of the mechanics or fight.
