    Ok, I gotta correct this statement from Dozer,

    "There was lag when you were fighting scores of monsters and there were more player characters with you"

    I just logged off Horizons. I was in a guild group of 5 plus our Guild master was with us. (4 noobs and 1 vet with an alt) We went to a spot with a bunch of Malichite golems (and one random person who was mining or something) and killed them for about an hour plus. Before that I was in a group killing pig things near sslanis. Did several ports in there also. Total time in game was about 3 hours with NO system problems. I experienced no real lag problems. I did experience a few choppy moments when spell effects got real intense in the larger group but nothing serious.

    I think all these "performance" issues of the past can be put to rest.image There was no way in heck I would have been able to do a fraction of that 14 months ago.

    Also New Brommel is full of people all asking noob questions like "how do you auto - run" I  think the old timers where taken alittle off guard.image

    Its not perfect, WoW by far, out-performs (at least on my PC, I never get any lag) but the game is stable and works just fine.image

    I be one of those old timers Torak that was caught off guard with a sudden influx of people.  Knew something was up and found out about the editorial posted on this site and here I be.  Best of luck to the new players and enjoy your stay in Istaria.

    Torak, Im confused do you play Horizons still? What was it about Horizons that didnt "stick"?

    Hey Shadrak,

    Yes in the past I did play Horizons waaay back before they file chapter 11. However I retried the game last Friday and am currently taking another look (see my post a few lines down) At the time Horizons had many problems and myself and my guildies moved onto another game.

    I will get around to updating my sigimage not sure what I want to put for Horizons now lol

    Well I'm back from my 2 days off and I played WAY too much Horizons hehe image I can now say that I will be playing this game for some time to come.

    The community is STELLAR. No one who asks a n00b question will get jumped on like in other games. I made a bunch of alts but my fave so far is Dern Brando on Chaos, lvl 11 Warriorimage Late last night I finally made it to the spooky part of the nooby island. Zombie Warriors look awesome lol and the sky goes all green and foggy there I took a screen or 2 and when I find a place to host them I'll post them somewhere here. I've heard people say the graphics are boring, those people musn't have made it past the first scenes: everything else has had deep character and the textures are SO detailed. I love how the zombies lurch around and dang, they seem to know when your around lol I always get adds. I played way too much this week, so not much sleep but it's worth it.

    This game is....something special image

    Wow that is a big jump from the day before. Exactly how long were the servers down yesterday? What 5 am to like 8:35 pm last night? I wonder where you were playing?

    Dozer, you are as bad as the company you berate.  You are a liar and a hypocrit.  By your own words, you stated you were through posting on this board once GW came out.  You were gone for a total of 6 hours I think.

    Smell your own crap before you point out the smell of others.  Keep to your word, leave.

    ROFL, I would if people wouldn't keep posting lies about the game. The only game you could even compare it too would be Mourning. They are both just that bad.

    Why do you feel it is your duty to 'protect' people from trying the game?

    Who made you their parents?  You posted your opinions (way, way too many times) and then said you were done.

    Are you going to live up to your word?  Or are you going to make up a pathetic excuse like the one above as your reason for staying?  You call DB a liar, every single chance you get.   You are also a liar.

    I didn't lie, problem is people like you keep throwing threats and name calling toward me and being human I must respond. Also again if people wouldn't make up lies about the game I wouldn't respond either. So I guess we are both in a catch 22.

    Plus wasn't it said that because of my posting a lot of people have signed up for HZ. Or was that a lie too? Heck if true TulgAE should pay me some of that cash they are paying to players that lie to get people into the game.
