looking for games that can be played one handed

mysticmousemysticmouse Member UncommonPosts: 146
As the title says I am looking for a mmo or rpg that i can play with just my left hand. a recent injury has sidelined the use of my right hand and shoulder for the next few months. i am thinking turn based rpgs or an mmo that i can control with just my mouse/macros to play. pvp games are out my reactions just too slow atm. thanks  for any suggestions

    Almost every single Korean MMO.

Try Wakfu, it just recently went F2P and you can play the entire game with a mouse. It's pretty fun too, albeit a little dead.

Now, which one of you will adorn me today?

I loved that game.  I couldn't stick with it because of how empty it was in most zones and then also because of the crazy grind.  The combat is so much fun though, and the classes are so unique!  I just wish progression was fleshed out more.

Also, the sandbox nature of crafting, etc was great.

Try Path Of Exile ( FTP on steam ),  but your going to need some type of razer naga / multi-button mouse.

diablo 3 can easily be played 1 handed its not an mmo but pretty decent hack n slash rpg.  its a lil different but a game liek hearthstone would suit this as well..

RPG?  I've had fun in Pillars of Eternity and Divinity: Original Sin.  I've also read good things about Fallout 2 and Shadowrun: Dragonfall Director's Cut.

You could get a left handed naga and play any mmo you like. Would take a bit of getting used to but I play mmo's 95% with a naga. Only keyboard keys I use are wasd, but you could easily adapt to just holding the right mouse button.

Alternatively, you can play any moba one handed with a naga at zero disadvantage once you got the hang of it.

The other day I found myself playing Marvel Heroes one handed.  I just did it some of the time but if you put the heroes strongest skill on the left mouse button and had the team up partner out all the time you might be able to do just about all the levels that way.  You could keep the difficulty set at normal and there are a lot of ways to take breaks in the action.  Just a thought. I'm left handed.

Your other option is to get a foot mouse.  At that point practically any mmo would work one handed.

One of the best RPGs for the last decade is Divinity: Original Sin and you can easily play that with only a mouse, as the combat is turnbased and movement out of combat is point and click.

As for MMORPGs, there's allways EvE Online, which works aswell with only a mouse and it's rather slow combat-style.

I went ahead and ordered a left handed Naga mouse. Started playing Divinity Orignal Sin as i found it on sale at the local Walmart today. I did try and play GW2 today as well and it was ok for hunting single mobs but i gotntried really quick

Hearthstone of course, and any card game similar to Hearthstone.

There are also many mobile games can be play one handed:

    1. Game of Thrones Ascent is a strategy game and you can use one finger to play. It's online game and you can play with friends btw.

    2. Forsaken World mobile is coming out later this month. You can turn on auto-path and auto-combat if you want to play with one hand.

    3. Dragon Nest mobile. The game has android version only atm. You can also activate auto combat and the AI will clear the mobs for you.

Check out voice attack. It's a full featured voice controlled macro program. I'm pretty sure you'd find it useful though it might contrevene some of the more arduous terms of service of the odd game here or there. To be honest it only provides the same level of automation as some of the Logitech programable keyboards simply voice activated rather than key activated.  I planned to utilise it more but don't much like wearing a headset.
