I am astonished that no one has mentioned Avatar yet. Not at all my favorite movie, I just expected to see it mentioned by the 2nd or 3rd poster.
Mine are mostly TV series -- Babylon 5, Farscape and Doctor Who. I don't know about anyone else, but the idea of playing a Cyber-Centauri named Scorpious might be too much for me.

a well made mmo about it would be great. Schools would act as factions for pvp, and it has a vast fantastic world for PvE. But you know, it can also be very easily ruined if the company focuses on the wrong things.

I would love a Dune MMO too. I doubt anyone would be able to make something with any depth, but a few weeks of flying thopters and getting in knife fights would be pretty cool.

if they add things like time travel and offworld teleportation.... and create a homeworld based on RLC game, then we have a serious contender
