Has anyone tried the Roma Victor BETA? It seems like this will be a niche game but it also seems like its right up my alley!

    Not yet been doing everything I possibly cant to get into the beta tho...

    Looks like it is going to be a great game. I always wanted to be a Roman I love the history and culture. So this game will be so perfect for me. If by some miricle of god I get in to the beta I'll let you know.

    Nah I haven't tried it either, i've also been doing everything to try and get in. I've been looking at its website a lot and it looks amazing! Doubt i'll get into the beta though image.

    On its website i've been looking through the forums and a guy gave a link to download a game which he thinks will be the same kind of fighting style as Roma Victor, one particular feature I cannot wait for. I love the idea of twitch-based combat although there are a lot of role-playing factors which contribute to the outcome of a battle. The link to the game that has a similar fighting style is below.

    Yeah the Twitch-based combat is going to freaking rock! I also love how organized the Legions are.

    Also something to note... the emporer is going to be role played by the president of the company. :D

    You see... ultimately the emporer is head of all the roman guild but Legions have a extra requirement to follow the emporer. If he is power hungry then the legions will likely be on the warpath! Get ready Barbarians... WE COME FOR YOU NEXT!

    The curse of the NDA (Non disclosure agreement). I trying hard to get into this beta. Haven't tried this hard since Planetside when I got a beta key for a short story I wrote on the game. image  Anyone know any other places offering betas for this game, perhaps a story writing contest?

    Is that game in open beta? And the combat for that is twitch based? i might give it a try.

    It is kinda open but not to the public yet I dont think... I read something about a corporate beta test or something along those lines so the public one should be on its was any day now!image

    I think the open beta will begin sometimes in july... man i want to beta this thing it looks so cool... if yall hear of any other offers for beta testers then plzzzz tell me...
