I love the game but my only two gripes are I do not like the controls, they are clunky even when using an XBox 360 controller on my PC but Geralt is easier to control with it (using the keyboard and mouse sucked hard). The other thing that bothers me is that CD Projekt Red lowered the PC graphics resolutions so they would be on par with the console version.
Aside from that I love the game and it will keep me occupied until a good MMORPG comes out, but since that does not seem to be happening anytime soon I am content with TW3..
The Witcher 3 is a great game, and definitely an improvement to Witcher 2. It's more of an open-world action adventure game if you ask me. Some key reasons it isn't an RPG.
You can only play as Geralt
You can only use one weapon.
You have the same 5 spells.
Your Geralt is basically the same as my Geralt.
This would be similar to games like Assassin's creed, and Batman: Arkham City in which you can sort of choose slight differences and focuses on what you want to specialize in. But I wouldn't consider it an RPG. I do like how there is multiple endings, and that is + on player choice, still wouldn't really consider it a true RPG though.
Thanks, glad you mentioned that. I was about to buy the game but didn't after reading this. I would have wasted 60 dollars had I not read this.
So you're not gonna buy an awesome game bcoz of some random dude's opinion? Well... Your loss...
Nice game...too bad it needs a really high end pc...
I agree
I refuse to keep upgrading my PC for anymore games. Heck i'm still not done with Skyrim and all the mods for it. And i just don't like not being able to make my own character.
High end PC? Im playing on high with i5, GTX660, and 8 gigs of ram and on medium on my Lenovo y50... hard to call either of them a high end PC...

Personally I think they lowered the graphics so that more ppl could play it... I mean they announced the minimal req for this game at i5, gtx660, 8gigs of ram and bcoz of the downgreade I can even play on my lenovo y50 on medium and the game still looks rly good.
