    Personally I'd put "Command and Conquer" in place of Starcraft.  Minecraft is a good one

    I think it should be Starcraft because of its popularity in the east and impact on development of E-sports.

    I think you really have to add Doom 2 to that list, simply because of the 4-player capability using Lan/BBS (DWANGO) infrastructure. It really sparked a huge increase in multiplayer FPS games.
