in Asheron's Call 2 : Fallen Kings

I just started playing AC2 and when I login I get the following messages in red.

"Your Character could not be logged into the auth server.  You will not be able to use your friends list or make help requests."

Any help would be appreciated.

    I got that the other day. I can't say it will fix yours but I rebooted, took a break and looked in fridge for something to munch on. When I logged back in it was fixed.

    So I don't know if rebooting fixed it or just giving it time. But hope that helps some.

    They are still using some of microsoft's hardware for the auth servers, if it is down just keep playing. A lot of times it will say your connection to the auth server has been restored in the middle of playing.

    just some bad hardware/software (not sure which) from launch. It means you won't be shown as online in your firends list.. might affect your ability to request help from envoys.. but fixes itself usually.

    I had that message a couple of times but it went away after a reboot and a bit of a wait.  Recon it will fix itself if it hasn't already.

    There is a website for support with turbine if it doesn't go away.
