First post and Horizons player since launch. Last 3 days I've noticed a increase in game of people and such and a guildie told me about an article about the game here that was posted.
Edward78, I wouldn't hold my breath about that version coming out anytime soon. They still have a game that needs work, albeit less than it once was, and they're working with what is basically a skeleton crew. As was mentioned in the editorial it would be best if it were a seperate product. Having said that, it would require new investment to make and right now I can't picture anyone writing a check for it given the history of Horizons. It's still to be seen if the game is going to rise up out of the ashes. It has a lot of things working for it including the best crafting system I've come across, a UI that is fantastic and a feel that makes me enjoy it. But it still has issues and items that need to be worked on and I wish the dev team the best of luck in making this a feel good success story down the road. I may question their decision making of the past and how they went about things the first year, but I don't question their desire and determination to make a good game which scores points with me.
There won't be a PVP version - that's just Tulga spin to catch your interest like the promised transatlantic accounts or millions of visual crafting options. They're treading water just keeping this version afloat and apparently have embarked on a complete client rewrite that'll take YEARS.
