Suffering from serious nostalgia and looking for a new MMO that fits this mold:
- Huge expansive world.
- Immersive harvesting and crafting system
- Free of cartoony comic book look.
A game I can truly get lost in....does it exist anymore?
Any suggestions?
Recently played ESO...ok but not it..
Archeage played sparingly in beta, leaning toward jumping in there but that itself doesn't fit the mold wholly.

I'm with ya man. Can't find anything that fits that bill, either. ESO got dull pretty quick, too easy, barely any reason to group other than dungeons. ArcheAge was a bust for me, too. At first the idea of building your class the way you wanted was great until you realize that there are only a handful of them that are actually relevant and the rest are just garbage. Lots of negativity surrounding the game in general, too. I actually sold my Founder Pack a while back, haven't given it a second thought. GW2 has been the only game I've had serious fun in since VG, but it definitely has a more cartoony look. Excited for the expansion with all of the class specializations, hoping they will make something worth getting back into, but for now there's really nothing out there that has been able to satisfy me.
