Wonder how this will affect Twitch
The same way Twitch.tv, and Plays.tv affected Xfire. They didnt. People still use Xfire as a video, streaming, and gaming service.
"Possibly we humans can exist without actually having to fight. But many of us have chosen to fight. For what reason? To protect something? Protect what? Ourselves? The future? If we kill people to protect ourselves and this future, then what sort of future is it, and what will we have become? There is no future for those who have died. And what of those who did the killing? Is happiness to be found in a future that is grasped with blood stained hands? Is that the truth?"
Depends on if Youtube will have half naked ladies getting donations......
About damn time.
Also, who uses Xfire anymore anyway?
You know I never realized that is what Xfire is for. I always just used it to log play time heh
When Xfire was launched it was the first Software that allowed people to invite friends into private servers. Yes Steam was around at the same time but at that current time they only allowed people to play Half-Life solo and not a lot of games like MOHAA, BF1942, or COD was not in the store yet. So the only way to get on to a private server was through Xfire. Yes Xfire did monitor game time but it also allowed you to stream certain games. FOr those you couldnt you could record movies. ANother piece of software that does this is Raptr. After Xfire was bought out by Titan Gaming the product went down hill and most of the users switched to Raptr(I was one of those that made the switch). In my opinion Raptr is better than Xfire as not only does the Raptr client do what Xfire did, its social messaging app also linked up with other forms of social messaging(AIM, Yahoo, MSN Messanger, Xfire, Steam, Playstation Network, Gtalk, Xbox Live, and Facebook) The only other social messaging software that does this is a crappy one called Trillian by Cerulean Studios.

And when you want something specific, you can search with confidence, knowing that typing “call” will show you “Call of Duty” and not “Call Me Maybe.”
Made my day!
Reporter: What's behind Blizzard success, and how do you make your gamers happy?
Blizzard Boss: Making gamers happy is not my concern, making money.. yes!
If youtube pay off the Twitch streamer to drop there contact when it comes up to renew.
The only time I ever saw YouTube flag a video about video game content it was because Nintendo demanded that YouTube remove the video that known Video Game Reviewer Angry Joe had put up about a video he made pertaining the video game Mario Party 10. The response that Angry Joe made after having the video yanked was to tell Nintendo that he wouldnt review anything else that had the Nintendo name on it.

Ok, maybe I'm just too old-fashioned, but I never undestood the whole twitchy-eyed fad either... people should play themselves, what's the point of watching others play? Eh, good old days...
