Hey guys, the HTPC in my home theater decided to shit the bed, its been ~3.5 years since ive done any real htpc research and i know things have changed a lot in the miniatx-microatx arena.
I'd like it to be as small as possible, doesn't need to be stupid powerful but should be able to drive uncompressed 1080p Bluray and HD Audio.
I was thinking one of the AMD options with the integrated GPU *should* be powerful enough? Dual core would probably be plenty but im not opposed to spending 20 or 30 more for a quad core just to future proof it more.
I was hoping for a motherboard with a UEFI BIOS and a M.2 SSD built into the MOBO. I'd like it to be as responsive as possible and to reboot, etc as fast as possible.
Don't need any additional storage, etc. Just a basic 128gb or so system SSD.
Any super cool (both aesthetically and thermally) case recommendations would be wholly appreciated as well
