The artical says that blizzard would not allow any changes to the game to be made and that microsoft would have to develop a keyboard and mouse controll system for the xbox360 which would be frickin sweet if u ask me. But I will stick with playin on pc i like being able to use all the mods and be able to do other things online at the same time that I play WoW

thats a load of crap. it will not come out on xbox 360. if you beleve it will please shoot yourself in the head, raising the total I.Q. of the world. its just one of those stupid rumors spread by xbox fans to justify buying the peace of crap. if it came out on xbo 360 the servers would be flouded be n00bs demanding the game be more like halo 2 which is the only decent game for the xbox that wasnt stolen from nintendo by mirosoft and butchered, leaving it a pathetic shell of a game. does it sound at all realistic that a game build for the pc is going to come out for a console that isnt going to be out for at least a year and will have speacal keyboad and mouse made for it so it can be played. do you know how much that would cost. and thats just coping nintendo with fantasy star online. and that costs ant least 60£/$ to get all the stuff for it, and thats not including the modem.and it would mean that people are taken away from making new conent for game. god you people are stupid. develipers take about things like this all the time if it isnt a load of made up crap but it never gets off the ground because of how much it costs.

You are such a retard, how about taking some of your own advice and blowing yourself away? MMO's have been on consoles for a while now. Such games are Final Fantasy XI, Everquest Online Adventures, and Phantasy (Not "Fantasy") Star Online. Each game does allow USB Keyboards and a USB Mouse to be used, so it's not really such a big deal as you make it out to be, seeing as how most people have them.

Also, I think WoW is allready chock-full of n00bs so it really wont be much of a change.

Geez elledan, just beacuse you don't like Xbox doesn't mean you have to make an ass of yourself with your rant. I actually have no idea if it will happen or not. I think if it does though it's only going to be bad for WoW's already questionable community. Imagine a whole new drove of kids joining the game. Ugh.

Yeah like wtf man, its on most gaming sites and they said its a possibility that is only being conciderd, when your brain farts again like that light a match and dont tell us about it.

Hmm, I read about this too. I can't imagine how the controls would work, but I would like to see it come to reality. World of Warcraft is a huge hit, and the consoloe market knows it too. This would also be very helpful to me since my eyes are going bad from sitting so close toa computer screen for so amyn hours. Hope Blizzard will do one last fan a favor.::::24::

WoW on XBOX would deefinatly opent eh game to thousands of new players.  I jsut dont see how this could really work.  On teh current XBOX controler:

    Left thumbstick-Move

    Right Thumbstick-Select

    A-Jump

    B-Select

D-Pad-swicth through tool-tip bars, Maybe use right and left and

X,Y,L,R,LT,RT,W,Bl,Bck-That leaves 9 buttons for spells/abilities. On a Paladin or mage you could pull this off, but if your a hunter/lock, with some of the buttons needed for pets this could become hard.  I think that If WoW comes out you would need a keyboard.

More importantly, you would have to ahve a mouse.  I would love to be dueling a mage and have him poly me, only to mess up with the joystick and hit me with a nova instead of the pyroblast he was planning.  I think it would be way too hard to select spells and targets with the controller compared to a mouse.  Just from expierience, Ive seen 10x the number of accidental friendly fires in Xboxlive shooter games compared to online shooters simply because aiming is easier.

Although If XBox and Blizzard get together and pull something off this will be very nice.

One problem with this whole idea though even if they get a controller to make it work.  Who in their right mind will be playing WoW if Perfect Dark Zero is even half as fun as the first one is?  For me and my friends after everyone left Ghost Recon 1 for the noobish Recon 2 and Halo 2, we went back to the old-school greats of Goldeneye, PD, Mario-Kart and occasionally we get out the GC for some SSBM as well.

my thoughts on WOW on xbox 360

PC: game $40(about the time it is released on 360), install/update time(2-3hrs, also able to do the process overnight)

    xbox 360: game $50, keyboard and mouse set $30 install/update time(2-3hrs/overnight)

outcome if pc overheats do to overnight install: fryed motherboard, auto shutdown of pc

outcome if xbox 360 overheats do to overnight install: possible fire hazardimage

    which would you perfer?

in my mind, i don't think WOW 360 would not  pull in more customers than already has. 360 does not seem to have that many advantges over pc(maybe the voicechat thats about it) if it does that would be a surprise, because in my mind the only advantage conclose have or pc is a conclose can go form box to play time in probaly a mintue and a half, all other diffrences seem to have faded away. Anyway just my two cents.

p.s I hope someone gets the joke

Simply having WoW in Blockbuster will dramatically increase the number of players.  I highly doubt that more then 25% of X-Box live players have even heard of WoW.

ok then i did rant and i wont say anything on xbox topics anymore.

WoW wouldn't be at blockbuster (unless they sell games? been awhile since I was there.).

It would work if they made had a keyboard and a mouse. Generally it seems however, that platform gamers are more immature than pc gamers (not a suggestion on age. I know many adults who are very immature when gaming) and that might become frustrating for us WoW players already playing.
