It is a useful definition for what he is trying to achieve.
Useful? How?
It definitely isn't any clearer than asking "How many times have you hit max level?"
It definitely has sidetracked conversation.
It required considerably more explanation.
So it seems clearly less useful to commandeer a word that means one thing and claim it means another, when a simpler question exists.
The OP had a goal in mind and used some phrase with a definition for it. That is how it is useful. NOTE: Useful to the OP not to anyone else. You might have another goal in mind.
