What do you think of this game?

I was just wondering, what do you guys actually think of this game? Do you think this game deserves the top in this site and do you think this game beats other RPGs? I just wanna hear other peoples opinions. I generally think this game beats other games like FF XI and SWG but that's just me...

I think this game is brilliant.

It's easy to pick up, and within 5 minutes of logging on you can be slugging it out in a quest or PvP.

I used to play Ultima Online for 4 years, until around the time Blackthorne's revenge or whatever expansion came out. so, i tend to use UO as my basis for comparison on MMOs

 But, I wouldn't say it's a true MMO, but I don't care. it's a fun game. I think that if you buy this game expecting it to have the depth of a game like UO, you will be sorely dissapointed. But if you buy it and keep an open mind, you will be pleasantly suprised at how innovative and original this game is.

It's a breath of fresh air to the Online gaming industry

People slag this game off, but I notice that most of these people are just trolls who haven't even played it or if they have, they didn't even leave Pre-Searing.

i can probably count the constructive negative posts on this game with one hand.

I call it an MMORPG, but I'll agree to disagree on that point.  I'm not trying to start a flame war.

Everything else, ditto.  The PvP features of this game alone are worth the $50.

I wouldn't call this game a MMORPG neither, but in a way it is. All of the peope meet eachother in towns and outposts, and there they can gather a party to fight monsters and do quests together. Most people that posts negative reviews of this game is maybe that they got disappointed cause it wasn't like they excepted as nephillim posted. Many people might also be posting negative responses and trying to make this game sound like crap cause this game got higher rating than WoW in this site, but that's just a theory

The first online game that keeps me interested after one month of play. One of the best online/offline RPG:s I've played and the good community just makes it even better.

I just love it.

What do I think of this game?

Its one hell of a great game, thats what it is. The game concept alone got me hooked on the game, being able to team up with other people while removing most of the bad things that most MMO's have like grinding (although some people debate this), griefing, loot stealing, and ganking. The game does look awesome as well, due to the fact that Arenenet has created a very good art direction with it. Kind of surprising that a low spec game can look much better than a high spec game like EQ2.

As for the PvP, I never was a fan of PvP in online RPG's since it usually revolves around higher level characters ganking low level characters, ruining the experience of people starting out. But the PvP in this game is top notch and made me a believer that PvP can be done well if the developers just put their minds to it.

All in all, I give it a thumbs up.
