get a hand to hand weapon and when u get a sub job what can i say

get a dagger when possible I reccomend a beestinger and when u get sub job choose warrior

when things get expensive this is where theif comes in handy u can steal and get good things... good luck!

Also RDM- very balanced stats, and a higher Dexterity than other races so you'll have better accuracy with your weapon than other races.  More survivability in combat that a Taru, more MP than Elvaan and Galka, and as mentioned, more Dexterity than a Hume (the other "ideal" race for RDM) for accuracy.

Just remember- race is forever, your job is not.  If you're not sure what job you want to do, pick a race that gives flexibility- like Hume or Mithra.

Yeah it's kinda unfair how mithra's equel or beat humans in just about every class. The main reason is that their low stat's are Vitatlity and Charisma, which are only really useful to a couple of jobs. While Vit is somewhat helpful to all the jobs, it's really only key for a paladin, making that the only job a human will ever always be better at then a Mithra. Beast's and bards use Charisma, but theres a limit to how much chr those jobs need before any more becomes useless, and lots of gear gives crazy bonus's to charisma. All the other jobs they're just as good at.
