They were not Jboots mate, they were cosmetic boots with no stats. I closed the store down due to the potential negative view on a few items, so it should not be a topic or issue for anyone anymore.

They were described on the pantheon site as boots that made you run faster. Do you even know what was in your own store m8?

The boots were advertised as "$30 - Pair of Sprinter’s Boots - Put a pep in your step as you travel the dangerous lands of Pantheon."

To my knowledge, the boots were never clearly defined past this statement.

After some discussion on the forums, it was determined that having an item that increased run speed in combat  and would be able to be bought for cash would not be welcomed by the community so they took it off the market. Of course Kilsin knew what they were because he was the person who communicated with us via the forums and subsequently informed us of the removal. That move made me very happy. He has been saying time and time again that they intend to not have a cash shop.

Yes, I do as I was the one who brought it to the teams attention, edited the HTML to move them around, plus I was the one who led the push to have them removed and then the one who personally removed them and closed the store down and posted it to the community. They were never defined as making you run faster, so I am not sure where you got that from, mate.

As Zarriya kindly posted below, they were described as "$30 - Pair of Sprinter’s Boots - Put a pep in your step as you travel the dangerous lands of Pantheon."

"Pep" by its definition means: "make someone or something more lively or interesting."

We will not sell anything in our game that will give a player an advantage over another player, we may have cosmetic items down the track to help with revenue if needed but at this stage, we have no plans for even a cosmetic shop.

    Thank you, Zarriya :)

Just hard to believe that we MAY finally see a game without a shop again.

So much bitterness from past experiences, so little trust that stuff like this could actually happen. Hell,.. even i have a hard time to believe it but i want to. Yet... burned so often... so...damn... often.

We want to trust you guys. I am sure we all want to.

MMOs finally replaced social interaction, forced grouping and standing in a line while talking to eachother.

Now we have forced soloing, forced questing and everyone is the hero, without ever having to talk to anyone else. The evolution of multiplayer is here! We won,... right?

I completely understand, I hate being burned in other games, so the last thing I want is for it to happen in our game and the team feel the same way!
