Pet Dragon?

in Everquest II
I just upgraded from the EQ2 trial to the full retail version CE.  I have only 1 character off the island and am wondering how I get the pet dragon?

    type /claim

    bewarned you only get 1 dragon! if you decide you dont like the character you are playing you will need to transfer your dragon to any new character you create. The same goes for the talking statue. The Painting is not tradable.

    AND before you /claim your prizes, make VERY sure that this is the server+character you are happy with. I claimed my prizes and then a week later my gf made us switch servers so I lost my J-bootsimage

    So I take it you can only get the dragon, the jboots, and all the SE goodies for just one char?  That's kind of lame.  :(

    Also don't press to drop the ownership of the house (by mistake) as i thought i pressed the pay upkeep, then you lose your dragon forever!

    I /petitioned and got a reply the next day with all my items :)

    Don't let your women tell you what to do! I lay down the law in my house. Women are for bringing you sandwiches when you're too busy gaming to go out the the kitchen yourself!

    I remember asking my first GF when I was 14 to make me a sandwich...I got punched on the back of the head. I have never asked another woman to make me food again....yet...
