Wake up people, Blizzard sells more than one game title. They're looking to entice WoW players into Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch. The best way to do that is to slow down on the content in WoW so that people are enticed into playing their other titles. Hearthstone anyone? Diablo? StarCraft? Not the first time they've done this, won't be the last. Par for the course and TOTALLY EXPECTED.
I surprised Blizzard hasn't looked at some kind of cluster-sub concept that offers benefits across multiple games to maintain player engagement similar to the old SOE Station Pass....There would be benefit to keeping players on tap who would derive one bennie or another from the sub within say Diablo or Heroes when not playing WOW.
I quit Wow "forever" sometime around 2011 with the launch of SWTOR and after being disappointed with that flitted around to a variety of other games finally coming back to WOW for this most recent expansion which I enjoyed up until right about now - I'm bored again....
Irony - I'm back playing SWTOR again and it's improved althouh the free to play model is horrible.
