Catch it while you can! Video footage from the Warcraft movie has leaked straight out of last weekend's San Diego Comic Con. The video shows Durotan and Draka, along with the rest of the Horde Orcs gathering at the Dark Portal in the hours before it opens the way to Azeroth. See what you think and let us know in the comments.

Looks like it could be pretty good.Seemed like they really tried to show a few vistas, not sure why,it was just a glaring light each time.
Last part "let me go first" is ummm does it matter if she just follows right behind him?
I hope the overall result is solid and not just a steady flow of closeup shots with some speech.,then moving onto to another closeup and speeche
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
I had fun once, it was terrible.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.
Edgar Allan Poe
CGI galore. Lifeless and plastic.
Still, herds of millions will rush to the theaters screaming full of joy.
I'll steam it one day, but I'm not going to the theaters for one long CGI cut scene.
I'm not a warcraft fan but I can't wait to see this movie and looks pretty awesome. Just cause the guy that recorded this was disappointed everyone else that don't have an opinion jumps here saying same shit.
People for years talk about how much they want Blizz's CGI scenes as a film
Blizzard makes a CGI film
People hate that they make a CGI film.
Making so much noise you dont know when to listen.
I had fun once, it was terrible.
My thoughts after reading the comments (also the guy in the clip). When i first heard it was going to have real actors I thought how the fuck are they going to portray warcraft orcs with real humans? That would just look awful. Luckily they didn't. I think i saw one real human actor in that trailer and it looked somewhat out of place that's what i'm more worried about.
I think technically they did a good job as it "looks" good.
I've never understood the issues some people have with cgi. Bad cgi is bad and good cgi is good. Same goes with bad live action monsters/good live actions monsters, etc.
Some people should have grown up when I did as everything looked like crap until star wars came out.
There's always some silliness in these movies "stick together" (they were sticking together so why say it?) The orc pounding on a rock hundreds of feet up for "some reason". "Let me go first" (everyone was already streaming ahead through the portal, clearly nothing bad was happening and she only waited a few seconds before following him.
That's all nit picky but that's the stuff I notice.

I like their CGI cut scenes and look forward to the movie. One thing to keep in mind about the comment made about Lord of the Rings, there was virtually no magic in those movies. Magic is more easily and dramatically portrayed with CGI and Warcraft is packed with it.
Lol, so true.
From what I saw it looked pretty good and as has been said, Blizzard always had amazing short CGI sequences. A full length film done in this way would be worth the watch. I'll probably not be viewing this in the theater but I do look forward to seeing it.
"Mr. Rothstein, your people never will understand... the way it works out here. You're all just our guests. But you act like you're at home. Let me tell you something, partner. You ain't home. But that's where we're gonna send you if it harelips the governor." - Pat Webb
Yea, ofc.. You know, because the expansion will likely be over by the time the movie comes out?
Where can I see the real thing without the self promotion advertising in the bottom left?
Exactly. It's going to be great (if the story is good.)

Don't know.
I'm nervous about it. Some of this stuff looks really awesome, some seems really plasticky. Hope Blizzard knows what it's doing. Video game movies and/or realistic CGI films have never been box-office succeses(except Avatar). This mustn't be another Ultramarines or Final Fantasy.
Very much ^THIS ^
I remember all the gnashing of teeth and bitching about how real actors and practical FX would be crap and Bliz really needs to make a CG movie, instead. Seriously, the majority of gamers are such fickle whiners. And this is not even finalized CG!
I make spreadsheets at work - I don't want to make them for the games I play.
What a waste. Should have been a real movie like Lord Of The Rings.
Cool, I was excited about this for almost a decade. Im not gonna bother now though, my interest in wow lore has faded. Also I was hoping for blizz to do a good mix of CGI and practical effects. Maybe that is still the case, but the orcs look like cartoons. Super detailed awesome looking but still cartoons.
I wish blizz would have just made Warcraft 4 and used the movie budget for cinematics in it and just never made this. Will be a commercial success b/c of the brand but a critical flop. I can see it on a shelf next to advent children and Titan AE.
And one last thing, what took so long on this movie? They announced it so long ago, and now finally its coming out.. Did they save it on the backburner for when they had a couple fail expansions for wow? I can already see the red lights and sirens going off at blizz HQ as they bleed subs thanks to Grindlords of Farmville. Did the blizz CEO break the glass for the "in case need guaranteed money" emergency pla?
