Getting ridiculous
Per the dev's the other day:

Well I got home early today and here's what I logged in to:
So with all these added servers... where's the relief? I'm going on 30 minutes and this has gone down.. and then back up.
I don't even believe the premium's get in without a queue. Why would I want to sub then? And I've got a current monthly MMO slot open.

Trion only has 4 games and ALL 4 games have had Que ues including Defiance which not that many played.
So is this a developer that listens?Do they care about the customer?Have they learned from their first que ue problems?I would say after 4 fails,they are not about to change their ways.

This. Trion is getting up there with EA as one of the most hated companies in gaming. I would say they are the most hated MMO publishers right now.
Yeah, I'm getting the same insane queue. Fired the game up for the first time a few minutes ago, was not expecting this.
Hold on just checked again; apparently I'm good to go in ~10 minutes. We shall see.

I would have to sadly agree. They started off as a cool company too. I think vanilla rift was a good game but somewhere down the line they went straight downhill. I wish they could get their proverbial act together, because it's almost comedy how bad they have become.
Good luck with that... I've been in queue for 1.5 hrs now. It's now supposedly under 1000 people. But I doubt it.
And as a CE Rift, CE Defiance, CE Storms owner.... and frankly.... I'm very disappointed.
LOL? I just got in today less then 20 mins are you sure that you are playing the right game? it was at it's peak today.
Today my queue started at 369 minutes and went up to about 500 minutes. It then jumped down to 25 minutes and has been going down.
They definitely need to get rid of the queues altogether in the next month. There is clearly a demand for the game that they can't afford to lose with long or inaccurate queues.

But yea... I'm very sure. I gave up waiting on the up and down seeing as it stalled with 941 people in queue and sat there.
So take your braggart butt somewhere else. Because the issue exists, Trion won't let me post on their forums about said issue and yet.... there you have it.
I've "re" tried the game like I said I would.... and found it just as lame as everyone says. If you can't get in to play, then the game itself isn't worth it.
I was a huge fan of vanilla Rift and Trion was proving to be an awesome company the first year the game came out. Then it turned into their own devs mocking posters on the forums and in their interviews, just a shitshow. Was all downhill from there.
Damn right. Trion was on its way to being one of the greats. I have no idea what happened, but there was a major shift and they're just like, "f* em, let's just get money and f* em"
When the same thing happens with every game they release it's a pattern, especially when players that have bought packs are not in a separate queue.
Trion for me after AA = avoid.
I haven't played this game since the queues started b/c I only have a little bit of time so I just play other games.

Let me just say first off Kano I respect you standing up for this game and company. I'm glad you're a fan and speak your mind. I have no qualms with your personal opinion and I actually applaud it. I'm not here to dissuade you in any way man. I just have a different perspective. To others who might not like Kano's opinion and actually hate him I say that's not fair. He has every right to refute what we say and defend his position. I for one disagree with him, but that's life in the gaming world.

Here's a tip.
Start the game earlier then you plan on playing, even though it says 2000+ minutes, I find it takes about 30-40 minutes to get in.
Google for a program called "Mouse Move App" and set it up so that it moves your mouse and presses a key every minute. This will keep you from getting kicked after 5 minutes of inactivity.
If you are like me and leave your PC on 24/7, then using that program you could stay logged in indefinitely, barring any isp/server issue disconnects.
Stoped playing Trion's games a while ago. I just can't support their ways of pushing the gaming industry forward.

How about this... I came home early from work. I logged in a 7... by 930 I wasn't in the damned game because the queue function sucks.
I should not have to gauge a game for 2.5 hours. It's garbage.
Thus, I've uninstalled the game, glyph, and resolved that the company won't be getting more of my attention.
Glad you other people can get in. I was in the night before after about 30 minute wait. So obviously I could previously. And since Trion thinks I shouldn't have access to their forums until I'm some retarded level. Well screw'm. They apparently don't care about alienating consumers who've dished out good money to them previously.

Trion are fucking liars,AA proved that.I was meant to be top of queue as a subscriber but it was an absolute joke,I failed to even get a farm because I couldn't log in for 3 days hardly at all and when i did I would get booted within 10 minutes.Rift is the most linear mmorpg ever made so I have no idea why it gets so much praise,everything about this company is shit.
Q's suck. I don't really think Trion is personally trying to keep you from playing though. I also don't really think they care if people un-install. Clearly they aren't gonna buy more servers just for this initial rush, they know a damn good portion of ppl will tire of it quickly without spending a dime. When that happens server space will open up.
I tried the game when it first released, it's cool but not really my thing.
