Bottom line is that your dealing with two scum...Robert's and Kickstarter.
Here is another carefully worded phrase from KS'r.This is under developer "expectations".Now when you first glance at a heading like that you automatically think...ok these are guidelines the developer is held accountable for,am I right?
"One of our biggest expectations for creators is that they regularly update backers on their project’s progress and notify them of any delays or roadblocks that may impact their estimated delivery time."
Keyword, remember that careful use of terms i mentioned>>"expectations".definition for those that like to argue..a "strong belief that something will happen or be the case in the future."Belief is the keyword.
So they are not saying the developer MUST keep the backers updated, they are merely saying WE HOPE they do lmao.SO WHY would KS'r even mention this ,why would KS'r feel the need to mention something that is merely an "expectation" and not some legal binding requirement?
"DECEPTION".KS'r is purposely trying to be deceptive which if anything can be at least complained about to the FTC or your countries legal entities because deceptive marketing practices are illegal except remember that OTHER careful use of words>>>"KS'r is not a store"
Deception, dishonesty all part of KS'r projects why would anyone with a resemblance of a brain give to any of these projects?
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
The necro of this thread was okay. It brought to mind that the issues with SC have been going on for quite some time now. And the same defenders using the same arguments to try to shout down any questions about this 'development process'. The only real difference is that there is a decided lack of input from our beloved LOL hound. Maybe he's a figment of my imagination.
Logic, my dear, merely enables one to be wrong with great authority.
There was a lawsuit not long ago where the owner of a company used KS money to pay for some of his personal bills, and he went to jail for 2 years iirc.......

If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.
