Originally posted by samooryesord Great way to dick over founders pack owners.... Now we get to spend ANOTHER $50? Founders should have just been given a free class unlock token or something so we could have picked what we wanted. At least then it would have been worth more. This Collectors Edition pack has way better items. They could have at least given us a heads up...
You bought your characters and saved tons of time, got the fastest mount, sub time, tons of argents and credits and other extras. With the new packs you get two more characters to save tons of time, tons more argents/credits, more skins, another mount and more extras.
How "exactly" are you getting dicked over? Cause you decided to buy them? Cause the value is there in regards to what is offered.
Another way to look at it is this way. Say you get the "starter pack" which is $14.99. You get 30 days game times which is $12.99 in in-game argent value (10k argents), plus another "6k argents!" ON TOP of that, plus 50K credits, plus 12 freakin bags slots "awesome", and all the other extras....
The value is there, sorry if you do not feel it is then maybe you should have just played it for free from the beginning and bought your sub with in-game credits from playing, which you can.
Seriously I don't see how you cannot see the value in these packs, unless you just don't like the game or something.
I am shocked at how nicely designed these packs are. Amazing value for money!
I won't debate the Founder's pack vs Collector's (I did get the most expensive Founder pack), because I don't regret purchases. Now I have to figure out if I want to get Alchemist in a few weeks or now ) Still have a ways to go with my Slayer tho.
Would be good to get a "unlock class with Argents" option for every class, in-game (for P2W criers, you get 0 benefits from having classes unlocked, they're all fairly balanced).
yea i was pissed off too, when I yesterday found info about this ed, but I think early acces for gunner and berserk is better then ranger/knight, maybe moa looks better then glider
and I am not sure now, but i think, that founder pack provide more argents, more upgrade stones and bonus sparks, and legendary weapons, not sure if they are here for knight/ranger
Yes, the founder's packs and the CE stack nicely. Also the starter pack is a completely separate thing and also stacks with either or both and can be gotten multiple times. It is only slightly more expensive than buying 30 days of premium more directly.
And with the $60 CE, well it has been a long time since I have seen a game with a $60 CE in general and I don't think I have ever seen a CE from another game with more than 30 days of sub let alone 60 days and enough cash shop credit to get another 60 days.
Maybe they realise that the majority of 'players' won't last more than 60 days anyway? they could of just as easily given a lifetime sub because once they have your initial $ its job done! I urge founders not to splash $$$$ on CE edition, just wait and see if you're still playing in 10 days first.
Originally posted by psiic WUT?!!! Sigh those CE editions have better value than the $60 early access pack imo
I think i have mentioned this a few times,CASH SHOP games can NEVER be trusted, there is always going to be a bigger better buy down the road to keep you spending.
I am just thankful no player wipes,i would have been pissed losing all 2 hours i had in :P
Originally i thought it can';t be that bad ,the packs were ok priced ,but after playing the game,it is not worth anymore than 100% free and even then i would not play anymore because it is boring as heck.
Dude, just stop trolling EVERY SF thread. We get it, you hate Allods. But that's YOUR problem so scram

Eh, I'd say it's a problem that is not exclusive to Wizardry. He's a great guy and he knows his stuff, and on this he once again speaks truth.
What can be said about this game that isn't already said by him?
It reminds me of Tera, like how plastic all the characters look... The combat is reminiscent of Neverwinter. I don't like how temporary your character feels because of how easily you can change his gender, name, and appearance.
I don't like how 'lobby' it feels, It's not bad, but it does feel a great deal like Warframe, which I feel works very well for Warframe, but when I'm playing this I long for the open world PVP of TERA.
I just really feel like many design choices went the wrong way for this game to capture me as a player.

Somebody, somewhere has better skills as you have, more experience as you have, is smarter than you, has more friends as you do and can stay online longer. Just pray he's not out to get you.
The game does a lot of things right, and is great fun to play.
Anyone who says it is button mashing is full of sh**. The Game uses a Combo system, similar to DC heroes online. Left mouse click, Left Mouse Click, Right mouse Click fires a certain power. LMB RMB may fire another. LMB LMB LMB LMB may do a power attack.
You decide which power you want, and then execute the combination of left and right mouse button clicks to get it. Additionally you have the 1-4 keys for specific powers. Q and E for context powers that pop on the screen if for example your character is stunned and your Class has an attack to take advantage of that, or you are low on power and your class has an ability to grant you power.
The game is like Destiny, or GUild wars 1. There is a hub and from there you interact with NPCs and choose missions.
The art direction does not feel like a Western title, it feels foreign.
Missions can take from 10 - 30 minutes normally, and you can Solo or Group. There is an instant group finder if you want to use that, takes about 2 minutes to find a group most times.
There is a storyline with fully voiced over acting and cut scenes.
You are an Immortal, and as such you can change your appearance etc. at will. If you don't want to, then don't change your damn appearance and *keep* your character as is. How the hell is this a disadvantage? Warcraft forces you to pay to do that. You can also switch Classes on the fly through any class you have learnt. Your progress in each class is separate. So if you are an advanced Paladin and you switch to Cryomancer and you have never played Cryomancer, you will be a beginner Cryomancer without much of your abilities and with a low level build. However! You can use the points you have stored from mission rewards while playing as a Paladin to quickly buy your Cryomancer abilities so you don't have to struggle through missions as a baby Cryo , lol.
And..the boss fights are challenging. You are not going to fall asleep playing, and you really NEED to pay attention to what the boss is doing, what's happening around you and react. You try to stand and DPS away , or just try to tank and spank and you'll die.
All in all, it's a great concept and well executed. I'd give it a 7/10. 8 when they release a few more patches.

The more you spend, the more you save !
Gotta love it...

Shame :-(

Be mindful...the game is extremely frustrating at times.
Specifically with the 'Group' (5 mans) Instances and Nedder's Testing Area (holy shitballs is that place full of "bullshittier").
Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising everytime we fall.
