He was of course hired from day 1 because being the brother of Chris he would have been easy to find ,being so qualified and all.Then of course who would know him better than his own brother ,so why didn't he hire him from day 1?

Only two possible answers ,unless someone can let me in on another reason.

1 Chris did not think he was good enough.

2 The guy Chris did hire had some money connections,they likely have some small investors that they are not telling anyone about.

Same goes for his wife,why did he not position them both from the beginning with these positions?Well it is possible his wife was hard to find .......ummm /not.

I guess there is one more possibility,knowing how it works,he was already paying them on the payroll do sit at home and do nothing.Then when the positions opened he laid down the bad news,sorry family members you have to actually work for those checques now,but don't worry i will up your salaries.

I have no interest in the game, but I do have interest in MMO's, crowdfunding projects, and so forth. Therefore, I have interest in the what this entire thing is about. But, please, make a point because I'm not interested in the actual Star Citizen game.  In terms of Derek Smart and how that sparked my interest in this, well, I can't know every single thing that goes on the Internet unless I'm somehow alerted to something.

Due to past 'experience' first-hand with how Derek Smart acts towards people and his hostility, including his own actions towards me, it sort of interests me.

Have you even stopped to actually look at that post Derek Smart did where the actual demands are buried near the end of, what I view, as a post all about himself that highlights his narcissism, his games, and so forth?

The fact anyone is listening to the blowhard is sad.

If i had to chose i think i would actually listen to Mr Smart(not that i would or would not agree with him) than you. You actually want us to believe you have no interest in this game lol.

What question? I've made it clear twice I'm not interested in the game itself. I'm interested in crowdfunding, MMO's, news about them, and what not. I've been completely honest and upfront here. There's numerous reasons why I'd be interested and post about this 'public' exchange and the community's thoughts. 

Everyone keeps basically saying they don't like Derek Smart, but they agree with his points. So, instead of actually looking at some counter-arguments everyone is chalking it up to 'fanbois' blindly defending a game they backed.

Due to my experience with Derek Smart, and my knowledge of his past, I'm going to take more time to scrutinize his positon. So, please, instead of trying to throw out red herrings why don't you provide constructive criticism or an argument to why my points are wrong?

People in a weak position tend to attack the person instead of the person's argument.

I'm being sarcastic here. Basically, I'm poking holes in the argument of the people wielding pitchforks due to Derek Smart (who's a competitor of CIG, to begin with).
