Skyforge reminds me of so many rpg to mmo games i have played with my friends but with everything i love about them, i love the complexity of this game and absolute beautiful graphics it brings with it.

I enjoy how you can pop on for short spurts of play in between real life's demands. Usually only a phone app game lets you get any real gains on your character done like this. Burst gaming maybe? Is that a thing?

The combat and the scifi/fantasy theme.

I love how the progression system works in this game. I also like the fact that there is a weekly progression cap, I believe that it prevents nolifers from outleveling the normal players too much. Love the graphics, the gameplay and the idea behind the story.

Honestly you took a different approach and showed some genuine creativity. I like the grind and I appreciate all the little details. I love the ascension atlas. I love how your class basically decides your build. Everything is a domino effect, and every choice you make decides other choices and so on. Whats makes the game great is the commitment one has to make to stick to their decisions. I've seen a lot of games lately that just feel bland. I have reviewed a ton of games professionally and as a fan. I will say this unequivocally; this game has some real potential and I would like to be apart of it.

    Cheers...

My Second Favorite MMORPG good character customization, combat is fluid and fast paced, and the difficulty scaling makes things challenging.

I love this game's mindblowingly complex progression system as well as the polished, flashy and most of all fun combat. Even better, it's all wrapped up in the two greatest genres of all time, high fantasy and science fiction! I hope I win the raffle to get my hands on the alchemist as soon as possible, a unique twist on support paradigms that looks super fun to play with!

I really enjoy the animations and the training area in the beginning is pretty cool. Also...I love the fact that I can wear spandex when I play.

I love the challenge of unlocking the Ascension Atlas in the next few weeks and eventually being able to play the Alchemist!!

    In short, I like the:

    • Sci-Fi fantasy setting
    • Instanced zone approach
    • Variety of content
    • Ascension atlas
    • Diverse classes and the fact that you can change freely between them
    • Action combat
    • F2P design
    • Gorgeous level design.

Now, for the wall of text description:

I like the Sci-Fi Fantasy setting for its variety of environmental themes. Both the Sci-Fi and Fantasy zones are a joy to explore and a breath of fresh air to the overused middle age fantasy theme. The story setting has been consistent so far, and fits the mechanics of your typical mmorpg (for instance the fact that you resurrect upon death or can teleport around). I have yet to experience the follower system and have yet to achieve Godhood, but I am very close!

I have come to enjoy the instanced zone approach with a timer that tells about how long the content will take. That really helps the casual player with limited time. The open world zones are large enough that the explorer in me is satisfied.

The ascension atlas really is really another big plus in this game. It is reminiscent of PoE and FFX, and gives you a lot of freedom in choosing how to progress. Coupled with the diverse classes, it allows for a plenitude of different builds. The fact that you can unlock all of the classes and switch between them outside combat is awesome!

The action combat with mouselook and combos really do give a more visceral feel during battle. Dashing does not evade normal attacks, only stronger attacks, and it actually works pretty well like that. If you really want to be able to avoid normal attacks, you can choose talents that fx. shield you upon using dash so the choice is definitely there.

The game is F2P and pay to progress. But since quick progress just means that you are burning through content at a quicker rate, it's not really a problem. Especially so since players in PvP are matched based on prestige levels (that is the way the game measures your power). As a casual player, this works very well. What I usually do is I subscribe when my timetable frees up, and binge play for free in between.

I really want to underline the fact this game looks gorgeous. Not just the graphics, but the level design. Take some time to stop up now and then and really appreciate the scenery because they have put a lot of work into it and done a very nice job at that.
