The below post mentions a rumor about the Matrix Online being purchased by SOE (Sony Online Entertainment). Well, the rumor is true. I would be pissed if I played this game.

i play on australian servers because racism is acceptable there

    I really wouldnt be all that pissed. WB and Monolith really havent made MxO anything to brag about, so SOE cant do to many bad things to it. If SOE can get rid of the boring missions then they may be able to turn it around.

    SOE can make this game greater, no doubt about it! but they don't have to change the gameplay that much... if you don't like boring missions, don't take boring missions!

    My only concern with SOE getting it, and its a small one. Is them taking some of the uniqueness out of it and handling it in the fashion they are more familiar with. Hence making it more similar to their other products.

    no, your subsciprtion will just be moved over to their billing system, and if you already have Station Pass then you will no longer need to pay for the matrix online seperatly.
