Serious android security flaw - make sure you update
Just posting in the thread about Windows 10 and the storm in a tea cup about auto-update:
There is a very serious Android operating system vulnerability. You do not have to even open the file that could be sent. Older versions of Android do NOT have an auto-update feature so are particularly vulnerable (estimated 950M devices).
Google the news; check your devices; get the fix if you need to.
