As I wait for the next Warhammer installment me and a friend in college were reminiscing about how much fun we had with WAR. I loved my squiggie to death lol. And my dwarves--all of them!

R.I.P.
I'm really actually sad it's still gone lol.
Forum is full of the WoW herd. They have no comment because they bit the hook and hated on WH.
I just hope they can complete it and not rush it sacrificing quality.
But if Blizzard has their way, they will figure out some way to steal the thunder for a third time.

Sorry, but I just think that basing it on the tabletop instead of the RPG game was a misstake as well as not putting enough work on getting the world really feel like Warhammer.
They did get Altdorf right but that was because GW forced them to remake it.
Warhammer is a great setting and the Warhammer RPG have some of the best pen and player stuff ever made. It also have a unique way of handling experience without levels.
With WAR they took some Wow and added a bit of DaoC with PvP focus and pasted a light version of Warhammers world on top of it. It wasn't bad but it could have been so much more. I just think Mythic would have done better with DaoC 2.

Please read my reply on this topic in the other thread I made. I don't feel like typing basically the same justification for the reason WAR flopped. ;P
