Qwant.
I think it's accurate and since people complain about privacy in several threats, maybe people find this a good alternative. They claim privacy is a priority to them.

what makes this a good alternative to google?
I only use google because the competition looks meh, and feels meh... I wouldnt mind an alternative if its good and not creepy.
Obviously it does not have spell check...

that name tho...
I find it just as accurate as Google and their philosophy is that a search engine should guarantee the privacy of its users.
I have nothing to do with this company, it's large enough that it doesn't need my help.
If you're going to accuse me of something, ask me first if it's true, instead of just assuming thing about me.
You don't know me, I was trying to help people, that is all.
This forum has become extremely nasty the last couple of weeks btw.
You post it in the wrong forums and without even a reason in the OP why it would be a good alternative to Google. Just like other posters who try to pitch some product on this website.
EDIT : You edited your post when I was busy answering your original one.
Anyway, how can people tell if you are trying to help, if you don't explain how they are helped with it? Because you post a picture that displays 'TRUST' ?
Going to make it simple for you.
Either
A. You stop accusing me of things that aren't true. I have nothing to do with this company.
B. I report you.
All I did was trying to help.
Looking forward to: Crowfall / Lost Ark / Black Desert Mobile
Go ahead, it doesn't make your OP look less shady. You are suggesting a product without stating a reason in the OP. Why?
While I don't really agree with Kiyoris on most anything I believe that this is pretty much sticking with character.
She has "issues" with things and I can easily see her thinking that it would be a good thing to let people know of a search engine that she agrees with or thinks is good.

Because I think it's a decent site. That is all.
That is great and if you are genuine, then at least put some reasoning in your OP so it doesn't look like any random spam.
not here nor there but just ran a 100 random search teams on it and its not too bad.
I do find the self imposed results limit annoying but I could live with it,
Oh, I agree with several posts (the windows 10 related ones for example) from Kiyoris after checking post history and I also know of Qwant. But I don't like the OP (as in original post, not poster). If you suggest a product , explain why if you don't want to make it look like an ad and why you don't like to use Google (which to me is obvious, but not to many others probably).
That's fine; I edited the post.
I definitely agree with you but that happens a lot here. Someone posts something or makes a statement and doesn't follow up with anything useful. Drives me nuts.
Especially when people do "one offs" such as "it sucks". Thanks for the opinion but it's useless "why does it suck".
Not being specific on things seems to be a forum epidemic.

I would suggest that if someone's goal were to advertise a particular site, he wouldn't wait two years and nearly a thousand posts to finally get around to it. If Kiyoris had registered for this forum today and this was his first post, you'd have a stronger case.
Awesome Oh and I agree:p Qwant or DuckDuckGo are nice alternatives if you care about your privacy when using a search engine.
