First off, I'd like to start by saying GW looks great and I'm gonna get it right after exams (only 2 more days).
Ok, I was wondering if there's a difference between PvP and PvE characters. Do they start off in different worlds or can they communicate to eachother and such? It might sound like a stupid question but i was just wondering. Thanks.

PvE, Player verses Environment or as Guildwars calls them Role Playing Characters, can go everywhere, start off at level 1 and can do everything in the game.
PvP, Player verses Player start off at level 20 but can only go to arena areas or in Guild halls (if you're in a guild with a hall). What you have with the PvP characters is determined by what skills and items you have unlocked (you unlock things when you indentify them) with your role playing character.
All the things a PvP character can do, you can do with your role playing character.
Some people complain that the PvP characters should have everything unlocked without having to do anything for it. There are valid points for both sides of the argument.

Ah, so you have to start off with a PvE player and as you unlock things its directly affects the limits of your PvP player...understandable.
Thanks
