You never had an issue with pets getting stuck over and over and bugging out?
As for WoW vanilla, its good, but only for large groups if you want to PvE. I guess at least I, I can't really speak for my group I'm a part of, got too used to the way modern WoW turned into. Smaller but more focused raids. Just in general there is a lot more to do. And I thought I remembered crafting being better in vanilla, but its mostly useless. More fun classes (like in vanilla WoW, mages as I said, drink after every fight), though they do get abilities later on to speed it up...but paladins are pretty boring as heck and mostly forced into a heal role. Its pretty limited. All the classes except Shaman are WAY better even in WoD, which I wasn't very happy with.
As for SWTOR. I'm not really interested in playing it, so probably only major MMO I won't cover. For a story based game, I much prefer The Secret World. SWTOR major downfall is a lot of the classes share the same experience. So once you do the main story on one class, if you pick another class that starts on same planet, you repeat nearly all the same content again. Its rather immersion breaking if you have alts. Which is what Bioware said it wanted you to do, yet it fails at it. WoW has individual zones for each race which is much better. Plus so many different zones to choose to progress in. WoW has more choices of zones/areas to level in than most other MMOs do lol. Then for my gaming group, endgame is easily possible for us a group of 7, because of LFR and no other MMO provides that. Guess that is why we decided to go back to WoW.
With that said, I haven't played SWTOR since it went free and only did the beta test. I wasn't very impressed to play it again. I DID however like the Jedi...consular? I think it was. The one with magic. That story and starter world was pretty cool, probably my favorite story in the game (at least early on).
But overall, I think TSW does better story telling in a much more unique environment. Plus who can hate the valley girl Illumanti leader Best character in any game ever lol.

The pets have never bugged out for me, and they are vastly better than the pets in ESO.
Hmmm. I'll log back on and check. Mine kept getting stuck and bugging out and not attacking properly. Is that in PvE or in PvP you use them (or both?). Also yeah, ESO sorcerer pets are the lamest pets in the MMO world lol...I forgot to mention that.
Also, that kinda totally turns me off SWTOR. One reason I kinda like vanilla WoW more (overall it definitely has its issues, and personally, I'd kinda still play it, but my group has too many problems overall with it, it isn't a good experience for a small group) is because it takes MUCH longer to level.
Whats with all the MMOs wanting you to speed up with annoying massive exp boosts and buy your way to max level like in WoW lol.
Might as well just remove levels at that point and everyone is at max level lol. (edit: actually, blizzard does probably make a lot of money on that...)

You forgot SWTOR.
Throw that in the review and you pretty-much have 99% of the genre covered.
