    2. All solo instances scale to how many people you invite for both challenge and reward. Really the best teams based game I have played in a long time.

    3. Many many open world maps you unlock some taking days to explore.

    4. No clue what you mean by locked classes.

    5. Love the no trading in this game. I have not seen one gold seller. =-)

    6. No P2W here as well. There cash show is as tame as GW2.

Oh really? shall i post the library of screenshots for you in few hours with gold spammers having fun with spam?

Why people lie about obvious things i will never understand.

And there are not many many open world map. Actually handful of it. Anyone can see it through magnifying glass tab.

You are obviously trying too hard to sell this game.

So you haven't played it yet eh? Why pretend?

Pretend about what? that there is no spamming by gold sellers in game or that they are not 'many many' open world maps in game? gold sellers is the obvious terms used in MMORPG, ofcourse if you want to get technical there is no gold in game but that is not stopping these sites from setting up shop in Skyforge.

You said you had tones of screen shots of this spam, pony up or stop posting lies.

Classes are locked until you unlock them. 2.)You get 3 free unless you purchase classes.

The game is p2w. 3.)If you pay for premium you double your earnings and progression. You also get premium currency which is used to apply things you've found to the atlas that improve your characters power for all classes. No premium currency means you can't apply those stones you picked up.

1.) Depends on how much time you have, even if you grind solo, open world maps can easily take 6+ hours @5k+ maps, not everyone has 6 hours a day to play so it could easily be a day+ to alot. That doesn't even include the camping that is recommended for class sparks, ether or otherwise to make the grind more tolerable other than just running instances.

2.) You don't buy classes, you buy founders packs that have the benefit of earning those classes early, otherwise you grind to other classes and having alot of classes right away isn't recommended at all unless you know what you want to play you will be grinding excessively, plan you progress well, cause focusing on only one class is really the only way you are going to make it in this game, half baked or leveled classes just don't cut it at higher levels.

3.) This currency can be earned in-game with credits, try again.

    1. Wife and I play 30 min to 1.5hrs a sitting. On the weekends sometimes upwards of 3hrs play time. Last map we killed took about 6hrs+ to kill.

No i said in few hours when i play again i will gladly post screenshots for you. I find it hard to believe that anyone who plays on US server has not seen spam by goldkinar guys.

Total BS and lies. I have 10 of those on my ignore list.

Pls do, cuse they cant trade gold. They cant sell gold. Go ahead =-) And there is 10 open world maps and the higher your prestige the bigger they get. Last one I did took 4 play sessions to do everything on the map and I didnt explore every corner.

So 10 translates to many many? exaggerating i see.

And what difference it makes if they are not selling gold? you think there are not other currencies to spam with in regional chat? you are trying to make it look as if there are no gold sellers in game..just that they don't sell gold but other stuff.

No that's English. Couple = 2, Few 3-4, Many = More then just a few, a large number of. Like if I punched you in the face 10 times you could say I punched you in the face many times =-)

Can you two please stop this incessant bickering like an old married couple?

The OP didn't like the opinion of a reviewer that had opposite opinions about SF than her/his own. Others wrote about their opinions of course. Now people are losing their minds just because others say something that is totally opposite of how they view the game.

What about enjoying the game or another game instead of flipping out?

Thats not gold sellers, thats dupers. Also even if there is a few dupers, I have spent much time in region chat and I have not seen any and that thread on reddit is so small this cant be a huge problem.

  • The way I see it is that Skyforge is a great addition to my rotating lineup of games that cost me nothing to play from here on out. Some of those games had an initial cost. Some did not. Some had subscription and dropped it.

Either way I have so many choices of games to play right now, my only problem is choosing.

Yes typical.. 'if i have not seen it does not exist' syndrome. I can not believe i even have to post screenshots to prove that you can not keep gold selling services out of MMO no matter what kind of currency in use . If you were some rookie who just started playing MMOS i would understand but come on man get real.

Now lay off the technicalities about what is 'gold' seller. That was never the main point.

I began playing Skyforge last night and being an mmorpg'er since the UO beta I must say I actually had a good time playing it. I went ahead and bought the collectors edition so I could give the knight a try right off the bat and to my surprise I actually had fun. The combat is fluid and the graphics are very nice, I even spent time running around just checking stuff out. Maybe my opinions will change down the road, but for now I will be a skyforge regular.
  • kuyanofdakuyanofda Member UncommonPosts: 52
it gets boring pretty fast. i thought i would be a skyforge regular. and im already hesitant to log in everytime i almost do. i would rather get quicker satisfaction from a league match.  and i bought the founders, and the collectors, and made it to around 13k pres, before i stopped logging in daily, now i log in once a week, and my spark limit is almost past 30000 right now. just havent cared to keep going.  but i sure thought i would make this my main game for the last year i waited for OB to start.

    p2w? No

    P2progress faster? Yes

  • kuyanofdakuyanofda Member UncommonPosts: 52
Progress faster in a game without level limits is exactly paying to win.  You give them money to have the advantage. It's the same thing.  If 1 payer and 1 non payer both have 200 hours grinding. The payer will have the stronger char. This game is all about the progression.   There are 45k prestige ppl right now.  Highest no payer is in the 20's. And 1 week of early access isn't the cause of that extra 20k. As ppl couldn't reach that in the first week

I have changed my mind a bit actually. I have started to get into playing SF now since I am learning about it more. I actually like it now lol. I still find it lacking but my opinion has changed from No to try it out for yourself.

Pyromancer will be coming to the Russian version and than North America, so that's something to look forward to as well.

This advantage is more evident in PVP. PVE players won't notice how premium helps you get more powerful in PVP with all the added sparks, holy texts etc. Premium users are maxing the hell out of their temples.

My wife will be excited about that. She misses her fire mag from WoW. Any word on where on the Atlas this class will land?

Wish we knew. But I would assume north. Left and right north look ready for additions.

I believe the gold sellers exist in this as I've seen a few different websites spam.  Usually In the hubs regional chat. Haven't seen the spam in higher regional open zones.  That being said I have used gold sellers in previous games and I've personally never been hacked or abused by the sites I've bought from.  Maybe I got lucky the 5 different times I did it in the last 10 years.  The worst I recieved was constant in game mail spams from some Chinese g.i.r.l. In game telling me their stocks were full. Easily ignored though.    So when ppl fear monger and say they will scam you and this or that. I don't listen. I make my own mistakes if they comes to it.  And it hasn't yet

Gold sellers can get into any game.  As long as players are willing to pay to be power leveled or let others use their accounts to grind gold for them it will continue.  And like someone said if they all were bad no one would use them and a lot of people do and have been for years.  How else could they make so much money.

I agree, if you're willing to purchase argents and buy holy tablets from the in-game auction house (store), you can increase your prestige very quickly.

You cant buy or sell game gold. There is no trading in the game. What there is, is dupers pretending to sell gold and people dumb enough to goto their site and pay for something they will never receive.

Even though I do agree with the terminology you use, one could still see it as selling gold/argents if the dupy real money stealers would actually give you an account with the amount of gold/argents you paid for on it. Yes technically you're then buying an account but still the account may contain the amount of gold/argents you paid for so an account with less gold/argent is cheaper making it easier to perceive as paying for gold/argents instead of an account.
  • stvnkrs10stvnkrs10 Member UncommonPosts: 53
Or they could simply have you place an item for sale at the amount of argents you want and purchase it from you via AH?

its pay to win because if you dont pay to subscribe, you are likely never to catch up to the people that are subscribing and dumping as many hours into the game as you.. they will forever have almost double your progression speed.

is it free to play? yes..

now with both of those being said, as a free player, or a paying player, if you both have made it to lets say 15k prestige, one got there in 30 hours play time, the other 45-60 hours..... are both of the p2w and f2p characters on par with eachother? the answer is yes.. this game is weird because even if you arent p2w, it doesnt fucking matter.. you will likely never see the premium players.  the only way you are going to group with the premium members, is 1. you hardcore grind your f2p ass off.. or 2.. the p2w players are not logging enough hours to keep way ahead of the curve. .

THAT IS HOW THIS GAME WORKS.

It's absolutely NOT pay to win actually. A subscriber gets a +50% bonus to sparks , credits and other currencies, but we all have the same cap. Premium will simply get you to that cap faster than a free to player will reach it. But if you started your character at the exact time as a subscriber started theirs, they will hit the cap sooner, but you will both have the same caps. Even if you don't reach your spark caps, it will carry over so you will forever be able to advance JUST as much as the subscriber. Basically being a subscriber just means you can put in less time to reach the cap.

THIS IS HOW THIS GAME REALLY WORKS.

Not true. When you pay you get a ton of argents. Argents are used to pay for slots on some of the atlas to make your character more powerful. They are used in other places as well with more on the way.

    THAT IS LITERALLY P2W

Argents literally cannot be used in either Atlas. So don't know what you're trying to refer to here. Clearly you haven't played this game. The only way argents could boost your character's prestige is by buying Holy Texts with them and using those to strengthen your Provinces, which non subscribers could just run dungeons for AND holy texts share a cap with currency for the week. So those have a cap as well. Hence my previous statement still stands. I'm not saying this game is everyone's cup of tea, it definitely isn't, but saying it's P2W in it's current state is 100% wrong.

It will become P2W and that's a fact the way the game has been going :)
