Drago Entertainment has proudly announced that Otherland has officially arrived on Steam and will begin Early Access play on August 26th. Developers are promising that the forthcoming weeks will bring "more content, DLCs and of course hours of fun with a whole new gaming experience!"

I read the books by Tad Williams, they were amazing. If the game is anything like the books, this will be a huge hit.

Yeah, the game looks pretty cool but why is the first video of the game I see about vendors and the mail system? O.o

I don't see how it could possibly be as good as the books. Besides, most of us don't have access to full immersion tanks.

This video: made me really interested in otherworld, the video here that I just watched made me not so interested. I think maybe its the song I liked and not the game, we'll see.

I have nothing bad to say about the features shown but that voice is disastrous. i understand the CEO is super hyped about the game his company is releasing but he is not the right person to describe the game's features in a reveal video.

I don't know, I rather enjoyed his accent lol. The video on the other hand I didn't care for. I already know how in game mail will work as well as everything else they showed off. Show me stuff that makes your game interesting, not bore me to death talking about how vendors work.

No no no, it was not about accent, i don't mind accent at all, it was that his voice is not clear at all and i don't think it was problem with sound of video. i failed to understand half of what he said even with my volume to 300%.
As for stuff in video i am pretty sure more feature will be revealed in video soon.

If it's class based, I'm going to give it a pass. A game like this should be skill based like EvE.

In our MMO you can buy and sell items , we also have auction house and you can send mail to other players. We made 6 minute video presenting these features as our early access pitch, meaning this is actually only thing we have in game. Now we are going to shut up and you give us the money

free mmostation video, I want to smack that guy, good lord how often can you spam mouse clicks and keys when obviously its not doing anything, but I know! lets click it fast and furious some more shall we!

Not to mention of course, that hearing the key 7 press he did so often was retardedly loud and like he was trying to drill an escape tunnel to other side of the earth. How can anyone call themselves a reviewer when they are just bulls in a china shop dicking around.
