Looking for a new co-op rpg

So my and my gf used to play a lot of wow, but we finally escaped.
So we started playing a lot of smite and love it....most of the time, since it is just me and her and whatever pug we get the games are either really great or really bad and considering we are playing it to destress after work the bad days to to be really bad.
So I have been trying to find a fun not to stressful rpg or mmorpg that we could play. There is actually a lot about wow we do like but we are really trying to escape the expensive skinner box lol.

In wow I generally healed while she tanked or dpsed and in smite she generally played movement heavy assassins while I played heavy crowd control, if that helps.

You say co-op rpg so I think local co-op automatically not MMO, so in that case I would say Dungeon Defenders 1 and 2 (a bit cartoony and dated but fun) Diablo 3 on PS3 or if you want something a bit more advanced graphics wise you could try Lord of the Rings: War in the North but it isn't nearly as long as the previously mentioned games.

    Gauntlet? ( http://store.steampowered.com/app/258970/ )
Though very little rpg elements and more action element.
Sword Coast Legends ( https://swordcoast.com ) is coming up the end of next month as another possibility.

Give SWTOR a try. It has the same gameplay as WoW for the most part, but with a heavier story focus. You'll likely enjoy the way the dialogue system's set up in groups too while going through the quests.

And thanks to the companions system it's perfectly suitable for duoing. Depending on how much of a challenge you want you can try going through the flashpoints (dungeons) together with just you, your gf and both of your companions. Or you can just hop into the familiar group finder.

My SWTOR referral link for those wanting to give the game a try. (Newbies get a welcome package while returning players get a few account upgrades to help with their preferred status.)

If you want a completely free AAA experience which is almost like WoW but with deep character customization and lots of leveling+endgame content, i will suggest you play Rift on a US server, don't bother with EU servers, they are dead.

My wife and I have  a lot of fun with these...

    Neverwinter Nights 2

    Divinity Original Sin

    SWTOR

    Age Of Wonders 3

    ESO

Another good option is board games for that fix

Star Wars Imperial Assault (we made our own Co-op version to play taking queues from the two D&D games below)
D&D Wrath OF Ashardalon (Basically a board version of an ARPG)
D&D Castle Ravenloft. (same as above) You can also mix these games up for long gaming days...
    Firefly The Board game.
