Looks really fun. Is there a free trial or anyone have a buddy key so I can give this game a try before buying?

I love every bit about secret world. The environment is amazing, story is fantastic (holy geebus Investigations!) and combat is amazing as well. I don't know why peps are bashing it but personally I love it :D. Oh, and seriously, leech dps is the best thing I've ever come across :D. It gives healer a whole new world xD.

Ok, maybe I was a bit inaccurate... I used to use AR, but mostly on golems, because I'm lazy... just standing in the distance and spamming AoE heal + leech on the melee plus tank fellas. Except in SD, that Samsu (the liquid fire one) has a nasty "I leech you back" effect, so Blood is better there

In dungeons however I always thought it's limited, it generates more hate than the other heals, and you can't heal without an enemy around to leech from... that's what I ment under maybe I should reconsider. I always felt a "safer" choice to go with fist blood, or fist shotty (or pistol) for the cleansing. Fist shotty is great support if the boss is not running around, you can keep defensive turret on the tank

"Oh, and seriously, leech dps is the best thing I've ever come across D" Shaman in Conan is better, imo of course. Actually pretty close to a fist shotty, maybe that's why I like that deck too... shoulder to shoulder with the tank, melee (in TSW's case close range) dps, buffs and debuffs, while healing the whole party with HoTs and the occasional burst heals on longer cd. Great class :awesome:

the secret world looks actually pretty good, but these investigation missions arent for me. heard you have to google for them and stuff...any game that breaks my immersion is a fail design for me. but the overall feel of the game looks actually very nice
You can skip those missions if you don't like them but whereas searching for clues on internet websites would be very strange in most games, TSW takes place in the modern world where people have internet connection and devices to access it. There is an in-game browser even, and web sites set up specifically for the game, like a website for the fictional town of the first area where you find clues to help you with your investigations... for me the investigation missions don't break immersion because they tie in very well with the setting but of course other people can feel differently about this.
I completely agree, you hit the nail on the head. Which is why you are the very first person I "agreed" with using those new little buttons. If anything the Investigative missions are more immersive because they blur the line between game and player sitting at a computer playing a game.

You should've tried the ARGs, those were even more immersive  (also gave a cool Morninglight robe as a reward)

Why thank you. I'd just like to add, to those who don't know how investigation missions work, that the clues you're supposed to look for online are things that fit in with the story and that your character (an agent of a secret society) might be looking for. You might end up looking for bible passages that are referenced in the game, translating latin or rumanian using a translation service, reading about 17th century painters on Wikipedia, the effects of pharmacological substances etc. It's like.. well for lack of a better reference if you were a character in "The Da Vinci Code", tying disparate clues together to reveal vast historical conspiracies. I don't think it's for everyone but to me it was very fun.

Don't forget the translations in Egypt, a conspiration nuts friend of mine laughed his head off on that

"can you imagine the panic at the NSA, a lot of searches from around the globe for arabic words like blood and death, and then searches from the same IPs for the hebrew counterpart... hopefully they have an "illuminated" superior who knows about TSW and the Unburnt Bush mission ;) "
