Would stargate SG1 make a good mmorpg?

It has everything that I have seen in other games. I think it would make a great game.

    I'd try it but, the show is good but not IMO great enough to be granted MMO status

    It would have to be done right.  But I'd love to see an MMOG based on the Stargate universe.  You've got the good guys, bad guys, and the guys in the middle.

    No no! I love Stargate SG-1, but our luck SOE would get it and tarnish the Stargate name.

    But you already have lots of races....

    Jaffa
    Human
    Asguard
    Tolan
    Ancients
    Goa'uld
    Nox
    Furlings (because we will never see them in an episode)
    Replicators

    and the list goes on and on.

    Nope... SG1 is a fantastic show... (the show is actually much better than the movie was :))

    But, like the Matrix, it doesn't lend itself well to an MMO.

    Agreed, depending on the developer it could be good or bad.
    There is a Half-Life 2 Mod being made as a stargate SG1 shooter, check that out.

    Actually a real game is coming out shortly. Here is the link. It has a download for the E3 trailer. The whole cast did the voice overs for the game.

    movies, tv-shows and other stuffs like that make generally bad games.

    I would hate to see SOE tear down another game. It would have to come from somebody new to this type of game. I would love to see SG1 and STO out at the same time.
