September update of Patcher/Terms of Service

Did anyone notice what was changed with the most recent patch that asked to renew the Terms of Service?  I was absent from EQ1 for about 2 weeks and returned to find the login mechanism changed.  (Now requires Login/User Authentication before dropping to the Launcher proper).  I don't think there was actually a game change that happened along with it.  Does anyone know what that was about?
