Any of you guys see this yet? Its a Space Sim/MMORPG in which you cn build space stations, start colonies on planets and do an amazing amount of stuff. It looks to have some incredible depth -

Picked it up on a Steam Sale this weekend and wasnt expecting much since ive never heard of it and ended up playing all weekend. A dev was even in game and was doing some bugfixing and chatting it up.

Its a true indie, a bit rough and in early Access but I'm really impressed so far so I figure I'll give it some exposure.



Ascent - The Space Game is an online multiplayer 3D space simulator with Combat, Trading, Exploration, Starbase Construction, Research, Custom-built Ships, Planetary Mining and Farming, Asteroid Mining, Gas Giant Harvesting, Wreck Salvaging, Colonization (up to 200,000 structures per colony or Outer Star Base) and now, your own NPC pilot fleet!

I just picked it up on steam for $15 and am amazed at how deep it is for an indie game.  I love the planetary colony system and am having a blast planning my settlements to make the most profit.  Check out some of the video tutorials to see the depth in this one.  When you watch the videos, just keep in mind the UI has been completely redesigned and these videos are over a year old in many cases.

I have seen that one about a year ago. There are now quite a few titles with very similar feature sets
