ESO - F2p or Monthly Subscription

I am giving ESO a try after taking a break from WoW, I know the pros and cons of each, but as an existing player...is it worth getting the monthly subscription for what appears to be such small perks.

The good thing of ESO+ membership is that gives you the 15$ cost in crown store coins - 1500 a month. If you subscribe for 3 o 6 months you get the total of crown coins instantly, at the moment of subscribing.
    I don't mind a monthly sub, so I subscribe.
The boosts are nice also, as the leveling-up is slow - but in a good way; it's about the journey...
    Enjoy!

It won't be f2p. You'll have to buy it. There are also dlc's every 3 months that cost if you aren't subbed.

    Keep this in mind :

You will definitely love the game at first, it will suck you in with its nice looks, but :

The graphics are nice, the game is fluid, but the game is extremely liner as you advance across the map.  Since they use the mega server you will not make friends in the open world, since there is not much point in trying.  even if you try others very well not.

Dungeon group runs are nice but short and uses a dungeon finder so not much chatting.  So its like, get the job done and get out.

As engaging as ESO is ( and it is fun ) it gets old quickly, because it's only a fancy video game and not much an mmo.  Both I and a few others I work with only played about 20 days.

    Hint for harvesting

Since the game is carrot on a stick. The zones are 1-10, 11- 20, 21-30, just wait until your on the high end of the zone ( 10, 20,30 ) then simply run around the entire zone picking meterials, fights when picking will be easy.  This is standard for all liner games.

This is pretty much wrong. The game uses progressive zones, but of course there's a point to making friends, you can be a member of 5 guilds..And there's plenty of guild activity and easy to join one. The game isn't that linear either. You can choose to level in cyrodiil from level 10 if you want to, you can level through dungeons instead of doing the zones. The dungeons are plentyful and some require tactics to complete + good synergy in your group. There's public dungeons later on aswell, plenty of group only content.

But on the topic -> no, the subscription isn't worth it. I buy the DLCs when they arrive, and if i really want a mount or cosmetic, ill buy the crowns for that specific item. Save your money
