The one and only thing I care about: Did expanding the Group Finder to all players of all alliances, and any tweaks, actually make the Group Finder work? The biggest issue I had with ESO overall was that I could never get into a dungeon through it when I wanted, and if I did get in, it was usually only with a couple other players after a couple hours of waiting, and it was long passed the point anyone was interested in doing it so they all left.
Since I play on PS4, and there is no chat option, this issue needed to be addressed above all else, imo.
So is it better now?
I wish someone from Zenimax would answer the hard questions.
1. How long are you going to ignore questions from the player base you never respond too? 2. Lag issues along with loading screens. 3. Players not receiving crowns after paying for ESO+! (Support sends people to forums where it dies)! 4. Fix for PVP lag?
Just sad this game could have been so much more. On official forums questions that people really want answers too always go unanswered. Which ends up making the people more upset so they get more bold in their writing which ends up getting them banned! All the years (been a lot) I have never seen a company treat it's customers like Zenimax does. I stopped paying them any cash and I have a lot of crowns left so am good for the future but it really is getting hard just to log in and play with all the issues that never get fixed. But I do hold out hope they do get their stuff together and make the game at the very least smoother to play.
Most important thing to Zenimax right now is the crown store. When if they fixed a lot of the bugs and loading screens people would pay monthly and also use the store.
Orsinium is a solid content and experience, but it is just one little zone that will be finished by the majority after 2-3 weeks. With little replayability in the content it is a hard pill to swallow for $30.00. I hope that the next DLCs will have more meat to them.

I sub, so I don't care about the price. If you don't sub, you can pay to access it and then you don't have to pay again. You might want to go there for resources, arena, whatever.
The majority is against the Auction House System and for a good reason. Don't expect ZOS to ever add it.
No, the vocal group that doesn't want a better global trade system say this, but there are no numbers that support an argument either direction. I fully expect the trade system to be improved at some point next year because ZOS has been doing such a great job at both quality of life improvements and content updates.
I love the level scaling and moving away from level restricted content.
I don't really care about VR. The CP system seems to work well regardless of the VR, but I won't cry if they remove it.
Global trade sort of sucks.. look at games like wildstar and Gw2 two games with global trade and commodities. It encourages undercutting by coppers and in general it is pretty lame. ESO may not be perfect it seems easier and more profitable to make sales when you are not competing against the entire playerbase at any give moment. Perhaps add in data like the global averages of stuff sold or something like that to make it easier to accuratley price your goods. I think addons sort of do that already on a limited scale already but perhaps it could be better?
SWTOR, GW2, and Wildstar have great trading systems. People actually buy and sell stuff all the time. There is no real economy in ESO.
I think having a regional or global system would improve trade, but if it's never improved the game won't be ruined for me. I'm fully self-contained. I harvest everything I find, sell or delete what I can't use, and craft my own gear, or use drops.
It seems to me those opposed to more encompassing trade stand to lose an advantage they have and are guarding it well.
ESOs economy is pretty awesome. I'm a meme dr of 3 500 member trading guilds. Over the past 10 days they have made 55 mill 28 mill and 20 mill.
To put this in Perspective a stack of food sells for 2-4k. A super rare item sells for 350k .
Every major city has 5 or so trade guilds like mine. Every smaller city has 5 or so trade guilds. Billions changes hands weekly in eso.
One more thing to add unlike those other games you cited, there is no real life money being spent in the eso economy. It's all in game. Pretty awesome huh?

I am in two guilds and the large trading guild barely sells anything for me but my questing guild sells much better. But I don't have any great experiences and I think the problem is with certain big guilds you will have those great experienced but it's not easily spread. It's like Walmart Vs The Corner Shop
The majority is against the Auction House System and for a good reason. Don't expect ZOS to ever add it.
The majority is against it? I think you should double check your facts. You really believe the majority enjoy running to 30 different places looking for items? Given the fact there's a loading screen every 15 steps makes your assertion all the more ridiculous.
The people against it are those who enjoy cornering a smaller market. The current system only serves those people. It's convoluted and probably very off-putting to newcomers.
As far as "the majority" goes I suspect that most people who buy ESO probably don't "use" the AH - possibly at all. They buy the game, dlc, play the quests etc. move on to another game. Why does this matter? They are ZoS primary target.
Then there are those who play for a prolonged period of time. Is there any data that they are against it ... hard data I suspect not but my guess would be that if they had a choice most would prefer to have a single AH. But - and its a big but - I suspect the existing system, at a fundamental level, was put in place for technical reasons.
ESO uses a mega-server. So if you were to design a single AH your parameters would be: - unlimited number of people able to post a limited number of items; so an uncapped database. - unlimited number of people searching the database; so again uncapped.
As a software architect you would advise the designers that this is not good and they need to come up with some constraints or be prepared to have the hardware that can handle it. Doing what they provided constraints creating lots of smaller databases and smaller groups of people searching on them rather than opting for - say - a more flexible cloud based computing solution (different issues).
Any proposals to change the system need, imo, to take this into account.

Firstly it's not just a solid but a great experience, and it was deservedly very well received.
Besides Orsinium is 25$. If you buy the Crown Pack of 5500 Crowns you can even buy Imperial City + Orsinium for 40$. Or you can Sub for 2 months (30$) and easily play through both DLCs.
You do realize ESO Zones are huge, which is why ESO is using wayshrines? Orsinium alone is bigger than 3 WoD Zones combined! Think of it 1 DLC for 25$ in ESO has way more content for a casual/solo player (much higher quality too), than half the expansion of WoD for 60$. Actually Orsinium DLC alone has also more story content than whole Heart of Thorns expansion which is 40$.
The good thing with DLCs is that you get to choose what you want to play. You don't have to buy whole expansion (4 DLCs), just to find out that 3 DLCs are not for you. I think people are starting to realize that ESO is actually worth the Sub, and with all these DLCs they are basically forced to Sub. ESO sure went B2P, but it's actually a well disguised P2P game.
FIX LOADING SCREENS I shouldn't need to keep a book next to me when I'm playing a game online.
Monday.
I really hope so but were you using Monday as in soon?
Well considering Loading Screens are broken for more than 2 months now, I'd say Monday is "pretty soon" now, that they finally do something about it already, so yeah.

My sub ran out yesterday and I don't expect to give them another dollar of my support until they show they are really attempting to fix the major issues with this game. They have done nothing but ignore a lot of the major bugs and issues for over a year and expect us to keep supporting them. Any negative responses on their forums is backed up by banning. It is sad because the majority of people they ban are the real fans of the game. The one's that care yet they are blind to see it.
I'm still pulling for them to finally start dealing with a lot of the issues but then again that hope is fading after close to 2 years waiting for it!

Well thought out reply with good points on where current issues are in game.
Like - they didn't fix issue. Clearly stating what those issues might be.
They ignore major bugs - never stating actual bugs really adds to debate.
And then bringing it all home - people getting banned. With no detail who these people are and when/why/where did they get banned.
Current issues in game are - loading screens. Should be fixed Monday, we will see.
Lag in Cyrodill - this will never be perfect due to limitations of today's technology. It will be as good as it gets with time. But never good due to number of people on map.
The rest of the game is generally fine.
Yes game had bugs on launch, but that over a year ago. Its kinda time to let it go.
All in all, as far as MMOs go, this is a solid game when it comes to bugs.

Yup, current system serves only small number of people and of course they are vocal about it.
Lets say, 30 tradersx500=15000 people. Anything over that=screw you. Someone said ESO has "millions of players" (well it doesnt really) lets say it has 500k, only 3% actually benefit from it, and thats a stretch because lot of people are in multiple guilds and most of traders are useless anyway.
ESO has no economy to speak of. What it has is monopoly of very small number of players.

Thats very poor excuse since other games do it without breaking a sweat. they arent designing AI here. If they dont know how to build a database, well, hire someone.
Global AH is not good. Easily manipulated and exploited (maybe the AH fans here do precisely that and that is the reason for the guild trader hate).
When you have dozens and dozens of guild shops, you can search for the trustworthy, those who will not exploit the trade system. You can keep in mind where those guilds are even if you can't join them. Most of the big guilds have their guild traders at the same place every week.
I just love this system, I rarely buy anything but I sell quite a lot of cheaper stuff (recipes and whatnot). If I see that my wares are not selling in one guild, I sell them in another. It is flexible.
There is also some pretty good addons that you can use to help in searching, setting prices etc. Wonderful.
I really need to buy Orsinium, seems like a worthy addition to already great game. Best MMO in years.

For PC players the guild trade add-ons are a gigantic quality of life improvement for people who wish to buy and sell. It's a shame players on Xbox and PS4 can't enjoy add-ons as well. I'm curious what ZOS is planning to do to make guild stores more tolerable for them.
And yes, Orsinium is very well done. You'll enjoy it.
I have to give credit where due. I was very unhappy with Zenimax at launch and my entire guild left the game. They have since done a nice job getting on track and the game has improved much since.. Currently playing on XBox, this is the first MMO I have wanted to play on a console.
