Kyleran: "Now there's the real trick, learning to accept and enjoy a game for what

FreddyNoNose: "A good game needs no defense; a bad game has no defense." "Easily digested content is just as easily forgotten."
LacedOpium: "So the question that begs to be asked is, if you are not interested in
the game mechanics that define the MMORPG genre, then why are you
playing an MMORPG?"
I LEFT SWTOR because of 4.0 and started playing LotRO again spending the time I had been spending in SWTOR... because LotRO is still a MMO.
There is still a ton of content for groups, exceptions being the Rohan single player instance design blunders, but still LotRO outshines SWTOR in the MMO department any day. Now don't get me wrong... Turbine has angered me to no end quite a few times but at least They know what a MMO is supposed to be at least a good portion of the time.
Bioware decided SWTOR should be KOTOR Online after years of trying to be a MMO... and they don't even talk to the Players or have enough respect for them to inform them of the upcoming changes to major systems in the game such as Crafting and Vendors... Bioware is the quintessential Single Player RPG Developer and in my opinion THAT is what they should have stayed doing. Bioware in my opinion should have never attempted to enter the MMO genre. I have lost the respect I had for Bioware back when they stayed with single player RPGs. After SWTOR 4.0 I will never play a Bioware game again, and as of right now all EA games are off my radar for the foreseeable future.
I play lotro and swtor but I have to say I spend more time in lotro, the game sure feels like a mmo but to me swtor also does and they both have great story lines. I also believe tesotu has a great story behind it but for all the bugs/lag/loading screens just not worth playing until they fix it. On and tesotu does not feel like an mmo. If you really need to know a mmo that does not feel like one go play that one.
I got lucky and in Blade and Soul this weekend so I will be loving it. MMO weekend.
